We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where every team member can thrive.Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of financial information, compliance with accounting standards, and the efficient operation of our financial systems.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.</li><li>Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.</li><li>Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.</li><li>Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements.</li><li>Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.</li><li>Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.</li><li>Continuously improve accounting processes and systems.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory position.</li><li>Cannabis experience greatly desired</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li></ul>Join House of Dank as a Senior Accountant and be part of a forward-thinking company that values innovation and excellence in the cannabis industry.
