We are a small cardiology-electrophysiology clinic looking for an experienced and energetic Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.. Job Duties:<ul><li>Responsible for rooming and interviewing patients and taking vitals signs</li><li>Responsible for updating and maintaining patient's charts in the EMR</li><li>Perform EKGs and assist the physician/staff when needed</li><li>Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls</li><li>Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff</li><li>Hold a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients, patients, and staff members</li><li>Practice patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and company policies</li><li>Assist with keeping patients connected on home monitoring</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>eClinical experience required</li><li>Experience with insurance verification/prior authorizations required</li><li>Minimum 2-3 years experience required</li><li>Preferred cardiology or EP experience</li><li>Preferred bilingual-Spanish</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Sugar Land, 77479</li><li>Monday through Friday 8-5</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid holidays</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>eClinicalWorks: 2 years (Required)</li><li>Cardiology: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Certified Medical Assistant (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
