<b>The Opportunity</b><br>

You: You&rsquo;re a skilled audio-visual technician with a strong customer-service mindset.

<br>
Your mission: We&rsquo;ll count on you to set up and run audio/visual productions for the Art Gallery, conference and seminar rooms, and the training center.
<br>
<br>
Your work: You&rsquo;ll be assisting the Campus Manager with setting up audio/visual equipment for Board meetings, conferences and events using the Event Management System software applications. You will maintain a schedule for the Learning HUB and Lecture Hall, and assist with the physical set up, breakdown and general maintenance for events. You&rsquo;ll be assessing the needs of internal and external customers, and preparing the audio/visual set up in conjunction with Conference Services staff.

<div>
Incumbent is responsible for assisting with all the technical duties required for setting up and running audio/visual productions for campus facilities. The incumbent will also assist with setting up, breaking down, and general maintenance for all events booked at the college; as well as, operational services for the buildings of the college facilities.</div><br>
<div></div>
<div><b>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES </b>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</div>
</li>
</ul><p></p><ul><li><div>Assist with setting up audio/visual equipment for meetings, conferences and scheduled events;</div>
</li><li><div>Actively monitors each event and oversees quality control of the audio visual equipment;
</div></li><li><div>Assist in assessing the needs of internal and external customers and assists in the preparation of the proper technical audio/visual set up for all college facilities;</div>
</li><li><div>Assist with maintaining the calendar schedule, facilitating general aspects of the audio visual equipment, and ensure that all safety procedures and guidelines are followed during all events held on the campus;</div>
</li><li><div>Serve as back up for all events booked on campus including, taking full responsibility for the operation of all equipment;</div>
</li><li><div>Assist with event set up, breakdown, and general maintenance for all events;</div>
</li><li><div>Work with the Event Management System software applications to ensure efficient set up for all events;</div>
</li><li><div>Ensure all service items and equipment is maintained; and</div>
</li>
</ul><p></p><div><ul><li><div>Provide daily facility maintenance.</div>

Technician, Audio Visual Facility (Part-Time) Staff Pool

<div><b>JOB SUMMARY</b><br>
The Procurement Liaison Analyst assumes a wide range of duties that vary in scope and level of complexity; conducts spend, price, and trend analysis; analyzes data to draw conclusions; and provides sophisticated analysis and reports, functions in a team environment, with little or no supervision.<br>
<br>
This position requires the ability to help source capital equipment and materials, ensuring purchases align with the colleges' strategic plan and comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.<br>
<br>
<b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</b><br>
Prepare and review for accuracy and compliance all college and grant purchase requisitions, initiate and supervise direct pay requests as required.<br>
<br>
Liaise with program directors to educate, support, and process their procurement needs.<br>
<br>
Provide recommendations on purchasing processes for consideration and provide direction regarding various procurement policies procedures, methodologies and financial management software training.<br>
<br>
Obtain budgetary quotes from suppliers and help program directors to prepare appropriate budget planning information for the successful execution and management of all purchases.<br>
<br>
Maintain appropriate documentation of purchase transaction files and records for auditing purposes and prepare monthly reports on college related purchasing activity by department.<br>
<br>
Interact regularly with College personnel to process requisitions; research and identify qualified suppliers; plan and organize requirements, specifications, and appropriate supporting documentation for requested procurements and source of specific materials; and advise on proper procedures to follow in making the purchases.<br>
<br>
Must track requisitions and purchase orders and help expedite deliveries, receiving and resolution of final accounting, assist Accounts Payable to resolve problems regarding incorrect billing or problems with deliveries and payments of materials in accordance with HCC procedures.<br>
<br>
Utilize knowledge of College specific requirements for good and services, to formulate short-term and long-term strategies in conjunction with Procurement Operations to ensure quality and continuity of supply and minimizing total cost.<br>
<br>
Must understand simple and complex College Budgets and forecasts; should possess strong knowledge of Expenditure Subaccounts, verify correct expense account are used relative to the transaction for all procurement, Accounts Payable, and other related requests.<br>
<br>
Make purchases for routine goods and services as permitted under HCC&rsquo;s Procurement Card Program and work with HCC District and college budget analyst to reconcile and code all Purchasing card transactions on time.<br>
<br>
Perform receiving function within the financial management software and work with inventory control to ensure appropriate tagging of all assets acquired.<br>
<br>
Exemplify open and collaborative working relationships with HCC District Procurement, observe district set policies and procedures, and successfully resolve day-to-day procurement related issues with vendor community, program directors, district procurement, and account payables.<br>
<br>
Participate in special projects and/or college assigned committees and projects.<br>
<br>
May require work over 40 hours and may travel locally.<br>
<br>
Out of state travel is contingent upon budget availability.<br>
<br>
Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.<br>

<b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br>

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business/Purchasing or related field required

</li><li>4 years hands-on experience in a broad range of accounting and purchasing services required
