Are you passionate about HR strategy and project management? As the Director of HR at Houston Engineering, Inc. (HEI), you&rsquo;ll lead our Human Resources function and team, helping to shape the future of our firm. As a key member of HEI&rsquo;s management team, you&rsquo;ll serve as a key advisor to leadership and drive HR initiatives that support growth, culture, engagement, and operational excellence. 
Job Description 
<ul><li>
Lead and evolve the HR strategy in alignment with firmwide goals.</li><li>
Oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, compliance, compensation, and benefits.</li><li>
Lead and mentor a high-performing HR team, promoting innovation and collaboration.</li><li>
Guide organizational development initiatives including succession planning, leadership development, and cultural integration for M&amp;A activity.</li><li>
Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, change management, and policy development.</li><li>
Champion performance management by implementing tools, processes, and leadership training.</li><li>
Drive a positive workplace culture through coaching, employee relations, and clear communication.</li><li>
Develop and execute strategic talent acquisition.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with employment laws and mitigate HR-related risks.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3-5 years in a people management role.</li><li>
Strong leadership, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.</li><li>
SHRM-CP certification is highly desired.</li><li>
Must be able to travel to HEI offices and other relevant areas as needed, typically no more than a few times a month.</li></ul>
