 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Develop, implement, and manage the company&rsquo;s compliance framework in line with Bahraini regulations and international best practices.
 </li>

 Ensure the organisation adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidelines related to payment services.
 </li>

 Monitor and assess compliance risks, implementing measures to mitigate potential breaches.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the company in all compliance-related matters.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance policies, regulatory changes, and best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop internal policies and procedures to support a strong compliance culture within the organisation.

 Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and proactively advise senior management on compliance-related issues.

 Qualifications and Experience:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Must be a Bahraini national.
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, preferably within the financial services or payment services industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 In-depth knowledge of Bahraini regulatory frameworks, including CBB regulations and AML laws.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to influence and drive compliance initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with regulators, stakeholders, and internal teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional certifications in compliance or risk management (e.g., CAMS, ICA, CRCM) are an advantage.

 About the Role:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will serve as a strategic financial leader for a major oil &amp; gas business headquartered in Bahrain. Responsible for driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and long-term value creation, the CFO will oversee all financial functions, support corporate growth initiatives, and ensure robust governance in a dynamic, capital-intensive industry.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives and market conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management across the organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure full compliance with Bahrain regulatory frameworks, IFRS, taxation, audit, and governance requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee treasury, capital allocation, liquidity management, banking relationships, and cashflow optimization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage financial risks, hedging activities, insurance, and exposure related to crude and commodity markets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide financial leadership for M&amp;A, joint ventures, asset acquisitions, and project financing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strengthen internal controls, financial systems, ERP platforms, and reporting frameworks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board&mdash;delivering insights, investment evaluations, and strategic recommendations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead investor relations, external stakeholder communications, and financing negotiations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams across multiple geographies and business units.

 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional certification desirable&mdash;CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 15&ndash;20 years&rsquo; financial leadership experience, including at least 7 years in senior executive roles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record as CFO or Finance Director within the oil &amp; gas, energy, petrochemicals, or heavy industrial sectors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong exposure to GCC/MENA markets, regulatory environments, and regional capital structures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing large-scale CAPEX projects, upstream/downstream operations, and joint ventures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated capability in corporate finance, restructuring, and strategic transformation.
 </li>
