Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ranch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a thriving ranch. In this role, you will oversee livestock management, farm maintenance, equipment operation, hunting guide responsibilities, and staff supervision to ensure the smooth running of all ranch activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant agricultural setting where your expertise will make a tangible impact.Duties<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate daily ranch operations, including livestock care, crop cultivation, and equipment maintenance</li><li>Oversee animal husbandry activities such as feeding, health monitoring, breeding, and handling various species including equines and other farm animals</li><li>Manage farm machinery and heavy equipment operation, ensuring proper use and safety protocols are followed</li><li>Perform equipment repairs, welding, and maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools to keep machinery in optimal condition</li><li>Implement irrigation systems and horticultural practices to support crop growth and greenhouse operations</li><li>Lead staff training on animal handling, safety procedures, and equipment operation to promote a safe working environment</li><li>Maintain accurate records of livestock health, breeding schedules, farm activities, and inventory</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven supervising experience in agricultural or ranch settings with strong leadership skills</li><li>Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, and maintenance</li><li>Extensive animal husbandry knowledge with a focus on animal care and handling techniques</li><li>Ability to operate forklifts, heavy machinery, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems safely and effectively</li><li>Experience with equine management and general farming or agriculture practices</li><li>Familiarity with horticulture principles and greenhouse operations is a plus</li><li>Strong basic math skills for record keeping and measurement tasks</li><li>Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions</li><li>Excellent communication skills to coordinate team efforts and ensure safety compliance</li></ul>Join us as a Ranch Manager where your expertise will drive operational excellence while nurturing the land and animals.
