HR for Dentists

We are seeking a skilled dentist to join our established and thriving private practice in Tigard, Oregon. In this role, the new dentist will play a key part in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our mission to serve the local community.Compensation is a percentage of the adjusted production. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, as well as an excellent retirement plan.Professional Role<ul><li>Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, promoting optimal oral health</li><li>Examine patients&rsquo; teeth and diagnose oral diseases and conditions</li><li>Counsel patients on good oral health practice and proper care of teeth and gums</li><li>Perform various dental procedures, with a focus on diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases and conditions related to oral health</li><li>Manage and treat dental trauma, such as cracked teeth</li><li>Collaborate with dental staff to enhance patient experience and practice efficiency</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations</li><li>Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care</li><li>Write reports after exams and treatment plans, and provide necessary dental treatments, including fillings, root canals, extractions, and crowns</li><li>Communicate regularly with dental specialists in a collaborative, collegial manner</li><li>Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and implement best practices</li><li>Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques</li><li>Participate in continuous professional development activities</li></ul>Licensing Requirements<ul><li>Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution</li><li>Active and unrestricted state dental license in Oregon</li></ul>Other Requirements<ul><li>Strong knowledge of general dentistry</li><li>Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix is preferred, and demonstrates the ability to keep up-to-date with dental trends and technologies</li><li>Must have strong hand-eye coordination, critical thinking skills, and the ability to make quick, sound decisions</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for communicating with patients and other dental professionals</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment</li><li>Enthusiastic outlook with a desire to connect with our local community and support efforts to grow the practice.</li><li>Commitment to ongoing education and professional development</li></ul>If you're ready to join the top team and make a meaningful impact in the world of dentistry while progressing in your career, we encourage you to meet with us!Job Type: Full-timePay: $5,000.00 - $20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
