 Overview / Summary:
 
 
 
 We are seeking a Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions, including data infrastructure and pipelines, to support the efficient and accurate collection, storage, processing, and analysis of large volumes of data.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future data requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Design, build, and maintain reliable, efficient, and scalable data infrastructure for data collection, storage, transformation, and analysis
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan, design, and develop scalable data solutions, including data pipelines, data models, and applications
 </li>
 <li>
 Design, implement, and maintain data platforms such as data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures for structured and unstructured data
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop analytical tools, algorithms, and programs to support data engineering activities, including scripting and task automation
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 4+ years of data engineering experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in data and analytics, data warehousing, and data modeling
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with data ingestion, data wrangling, and data transformation
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with structured and unstructured data
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience writing stored procedures and working with triggers
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree
 
 
 </li>

 Project Overview
 
 
 
 We are working on building a Customer 360 platform for an airline client, aimed at creating a unified view of customer data across multiple systems. This platform will support various business use cases including customer insights, personalization, and data-driven decision-making.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements across multiple workstreams
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define requirements for a Customer 360 data platform
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyse data flows, data feeds, and integration points across ~40+ source systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with technical teams, data engineers, and vendors to validate solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Define and document data models, schemas, and data structures
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure proper data governance, data lineage, and data quality checks are in place
 </li>
 <li>
 Support data integration and stitching of customer data from multiple platforms
 </li>
 <li>
 Produce clear documentation including process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitate Agile ceremonies and work closely with delivery teams
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Essential Skills &amp; Experience
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proven experience in data-driven or data migration programs
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of data analysis concepts including:
 </li>
 <li>
 Data modelling &amp; schemas
 </li>
 <li>
 Data lineage &amp; governance
 </li>
 <li>
 Data quality and validation
 </li>
 <li>
 Data integration &amp; servicing
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interpret data feeds, schemas, and integration specifications
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience working with data platforms / data ecosystems, such as: Data Lake / ADLS or Databricks or AWS (Redshift, S3, etc.) or Google BigQuery
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working on data warehouse or Customer 360 implementations
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Agile/Scrum delivery experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Nice to Have
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience in Airline / Travel domain
 </li>
 <li>
 Exposure to CRM, customer communication, or marketing platforms
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer or Amadeus
 </li>
