Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Counsel, Litigation &amp; Claims, the Senior Counsel, Litigation &amp; Claims will:
Resolve a high volume of active claims and potential claims in the United States and Canada, over 80% of which involve allegations of insurance broker professional liability (errors and omissions)<ul><li>
Analyzes new claims and lawsuits, begins factual investigation, identifies key participants and documents, and determines initial strategy.</li><li>
Reviews key documents (contracts, policies, applications, correspondence, complaints/demands, carrier position/reservation of rights letters) relating to the claim.</li><li>
Conducts thorough investigation of facts and interviews Hub employees most knowledgeable of the facts relating to the claim.</li><li>
Determines potential exposure based on liability, alleged damages, fees that may be needed to defend and the applicable law relating to the duties of an insurance broker and other legal issues.</li><li>
Analyzes coverage position of the insurer, determines its merit and engages with insurer as may be appropriate.</li><li>
Prepares reports to management on developments, exposure and potential for resolution.</li><li>
If settlement is appropriate, negotiates with parties and/or counsel.</li><li>
Advises local team and claimant when we have determined there is no legal exposure for Hub.</li><li>
Manages non-party subpoenas for documents and depositions.</li></ul>
Retains and supervises outside counsel when needed for advice or defense of the Company<ul><li>
Manages outside counsel, enforces litigation management guidelines and approves invoices.</li><li>
Engages with counsel on strategy, early settlement, and development of facts.</li><li>
Works with outside counsel, Hub IT and e-discovery vendor to collect and produce Hub documents relating to the matter.</li><li>
Participates actively in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.</li></ul>
Trains and advises internal clients on various legal issues including how to avoid professional negligence and other types of legal liability<ul><li>
Develops data regarding the company&rsquo;s errors and omissions experience.</li><li>
Identifies common trends or specific issues relating to omissions claims generally.</li><li>
Recommends corrective measures.</li></ul>
Advises management of Hub operating companies and Legal Department<ul><li>
Reports to corporate and local management (in general and on specific matters)</li><li>
Provides legal support for our business as an insurance broker and addresses various legal issues that arise in servicing our clients&rsquo; insurance needs.</li></ul>
Legal Department liaison and legal resource to Claims and other Hub business units. Monitors and reports on changes in law impacting Hub.
Requirements:<ul><li>
Juris Doctor from a U.S. law school and bar admission in any U.S. state</li><li>
5+ years&rsquo; professional legal experience at any law firm, insurance brokerage, other in-house legal department or insurance company</li><li>
Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, especially insurance coverage</li><li>
Superior written and oral communications skills</li><li>
Technological skills relating to data analysis and efficient case handling</li><li>

POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the HR Leadership Team, and the Legal Leadership Team. This role serves as a critical operational hub, managing complex calendars, sensitive information, and coordination across two strategically vital functions. The ideal candidate is proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly and confidentiality is critical.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Support &mdash; CHRO<ul><li>
Own a complex, dynamic calendar including executive team and Board meetings, recurring meetings (HR, HR Leadership Team, direct reports, Presidents, and Executive Management Team members), and other internal and external meetings. Independently decides what is scheduled and when based on priorities.</li><li>
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries and navigating travel challenges.</li><li>
Submit expense reports in accordance with company policy.</li><li>
Prepare briefing materials, presentations, reports, and correspondence on behalf of and for the CHRO.</li><li>
Prioritize meeting requests and ensure timely CHRO follow-through on action items.</li><li>
Serve as a gatekeeper and trusted liaison between the CHRO and internal/external stakeholders.</li><li>
Submit invoices for payment and track expenses to ensure adherence to budget.</li></ul>
HR &amp; Legal Leadership Team Support<ul><li>
Partner with the Lead Legal Executive Assistant for direction and coordination of Legal team support.</li><li>
Coordinate scheduling and logistics for HR and Legal leadership team meetings, offsites, training programs, and planning sessions.</li><li>
Plan and execute internal events for Legal and HR teams including annual functional summits and oversee all aspects including operations, logistics, vendor coordination, and event production.</li><li>

General Description (Summary, Scope, Purpose)
The Courier is responsible for supporting the Office Support Manager/Department in their daily tasks, which generally comprise of clerical and other document needs, supplies, mail, errands, special projects, and reception.
DUTIES<ul><li>
Maintains coverage of the front desk/reception area. Greets and directs visitors as needed.</li><li>
Maintains a clean and professional lobby area, conference rooms, and break room.</li><li>
Takes personal lines photos of properties as requested.</li><li>
Completes special projects, clerical work, research, reports, excel spreadsheets, AMS/EPIC assistance, etc. as requested.</li><li>

The person filling this position must be organized, a self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills. This position requires the employee to sit and work on the computer or other office equipment for approximately 20 hours per week. This position requires someone who is comfortable in a multi-tasking environment, can work well with others, and can maintain a professional demeanor with guests, clients, and employees. In addition, the employee may be required to work outside of the office setting when on errands and deliveries and must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license, registered vehicle, and car insurance.</li></ul>
EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>
Must be willing to work approximately 20 hours per week, during normal business hours. Can be flexible with scheduling.</li><li>

Summary
The Surety Account Manager is responsible for assisting Surety Account Executives and Producers with the servicing of assigned surety accounts in accordance with the practices, policies and procedures of the Company.

Account Manager - Surety / Bonds

<div>Responsible for providing a variety of operational accounting tasks and business analytics in the operations department. Must be able to accurately compute, report and verify numerical data in a professional and knowledgeable manner; ensuring adherence to company policies and general accounting principles.

Business Analyst

 Responsible for providing a variety of operational accounting tasks and business analytics in the operations department. Must be able to accurately compute, report and verify numerical data in a professional and knowledgeable manner; ensuring adherence to company policies and general accounting principles.
 
 
 
 Essential Duties And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform and report comparative periodic budget to actual variance analysis for specified branches and/or region.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform producer payable audits, resolve errors, prepare and distribute monthly reports to specified payees.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and analyze periodic and adhoc business management reports per management specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assumes responsibility for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving (or properly referring) accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform recommended business management systems audits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor premium finance agreement submission process to ensure timely funding.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establishes and maintains effective communication and coordination with Company personnel and with management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists Accounting Department personnel as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other related duties as required or assigned, which depending on the organizational structure of a regional Finance Department, may have some limited team lead responsibilities as it relates to accounting principles, procedures and reconciliation problems.

 Work Experience Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Detail oriented with above average analytical skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to solve practical problems and follow written, verbal or other instructions with multiple abstract and concrete variables.
 </li>
 <li>
 At least 3 &ndash; 5 years in accounting or financial analysis roles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately, including percentages, fractions, decimals, and simple mathematical formulae.
 </li>
 <li>
 Effective communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of agency operations, agency management experience desirable and prior experience in business administration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of agency workflow procedures and software, underwriting, sales and service processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Positive attitude and strong work ethic: team player.

 Education Requirements
 
 
 
 College degree in accounting or finance; at least 3 &ndash; 5 years in accounting or financial analysis roles.
 
 
 Department Office Administration &amp; Clerical
 
 
 Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
 
 
 Required Travel: Negligible
 
 
 Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
