Entry-Level Graphic DesignerHughes Media Corp is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our in-house team. This role is ideal for someone who loves editorial design, thrives on deadlines, and enjoys seeing their work come to life in print.You&rsquo;ll play an important role in shaping the look of our magazines by designing layouts, advertisements, and visual content that engage our readers and clients.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design editorial layouts and advertisements for our publications</li><li>Collaborate with our creative and sales teams to produce compelling visual content</li><li>Work directly with clients to ensure their ads and materials meet expectations</li><li>Edit and retouch photos for print and digital use</li><li>Assist with photography when needed</li><li>Create internal marketing and sales materials</li><li>Upload and manage articles on our websites</li><li>Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced publishing environment</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud ( Especially in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)</li><li>Attention to detail and organization</li><li>Ability to work efficiently under deadlines</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li><li>WordPress or web design experience is a plus</li><li>Photography experience is a plus</li></ul>What to Include With Your Application<ul><li>A link to your portfolio or work samples showcasing your design and technical skills</li><li>Your resume</li><li>A completed PDF of the assessment below</li></ul>Design AssessmentAs part of the application process, please complete the following design exercise.Create a full-page advertisement for Macktown Construction using information from their website: macktownconstruction.com.
