<div>Position Goal
Perform designated routine tasks related to the operation of the physical therapy service and may assist with specific patient-related activities.
Position Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assist the Physical Therapists/Physical Therapist Assistant in treating patients.</li>
<li>Assist patient(s) in the safe practice of activities related to the development of strength and endurance.</li>
<li>Check equipment for proper functioning and appropriate location.</li>
<li>Follow established procedures pertaining to the care of equipment and supplies.</li>
<li>Prepare, maintain and clean-up workstations, treatment areas and the gym; including but not limited to sanitization of equipment/tables and folding laundry.</li>
<li>Maintain other supportive areas.</li>
<li>Order supplies as directed within the budget; stock and inventory as needed.</li>
<li>Copy materials as appropriate; file notes in charts; record treatment in charts; process, handle, file other types of documentation.</li>
<li>Create work orders when equipment is not working appropriately.</li>
<li>Correspond with vendors, physicians staff, and therapist when coordinating modalities and/or equipment to meet the patient&rsquo;s need.</li>
<li>Apply modalities as directed by the therapist as allowed by that state&rsquo;s practice act.</li>

<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
</ul>
Special Qualifications:
Required:
<ul><li>May require working at multiple locations.</li>
<li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License, satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR) and proof of insurance required for position on-boarding.</li>
<li>Annual MVR may be required per policy and procedure; background reports may be ran as needed throughout the course of employment.</li>
<li>Must maintain BLS certification.</li>
