The Talent Manager, Retail is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts across the HUGO BOSS Retail business in the United States and Canada. This role partners closely with retail leadership to attract, assess, and hire top talent that supports business objectives and drives organizational success.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies, managing candidate pipelines, conducting interviews and assessments, and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The Talent Manager leverages a variety of internal and external recruiting channels to identify and engage diverse, high-caliber talent for both field and corporate retail positions.

The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in talent acquisition, best practices, interviewing techniques, employment laws and regulations, and workforce planning. This role requires a deep understanding of the retail business, organizational structure, and company policies, along with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. The Talent Manager serves as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, recruitment strategies, and guidance on talent decisions to support the continued growth and success of the HUGO BOSS Retail organization.

This position is based in New York City, New York, and supports recruitment activities across the United States and Canada. 
What you can expect:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
<ul>
<li>Partner with business leaders to proactively identify target candidate profiles and align recruitment strategies with evolving business needs to attract top talent.</li>
<li>Collaborate with HR Business Partners on the end-to-end recruitment process for the U.S. and Canada retail population, including interviews and the facilitation of hiring qualified applicants; work closely with Retail Management to define required skills and competencies for open roles.</li>
<li>Create and manage job postings and recruitment campaigns across applicant tracking systems, social media, professional networks, job boards, talent communities, and other strategic sourcing channels to attract top talent.</li>
<li>Guide Talent Assistant to ensure effective support and timely completion of all talent-related administrative responsibilities.</li>
<li>Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, coordinating background checks, and overseeing new hire documentation.</li>
<li>Support the administration of appropriate assessments and reference/background checking and extend offer of employment and create/deliver employment offer letters.</li>
<li>Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.</li>
<li>Support the recruitment efforts for short-term and long-term temporary needs.</li>
<li>Manages internal transfer processes, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, etc.</li>
<li>Following up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.</li>
<li>Manage the Open Jobs Report and Global Reporting.</li>
<li>Manage agency relationships ensuring that the best interests of the company are always in mind.</li>
<li>Remains updated on all local and state legislative changes relating to employment screening and job offering.</li>
<li>Own and manage reporting metrics such as time to fill, sourcing channel, retention rate, cost of hire, and report on a reoccurring frequency.</li>
<li>Optimize sourcing and interviewing strategies to improve recruiting metrics and drive business impact (e.g., response rates, screen volume, conversion rates, time to fill, hire rate, hires, candidate and manager NPS, cost per hire, retention).</li>
<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the team in the areas of learning &amp; development, team culture, recruiting processes, cross-functional collaboration, and data analysis.</li>

Your profile:<ul>
<li>
BA, preferably in Human Resources.</li>
<li>5 years of professional retail recruiting required.</li>
<li>Knowledge of SAP and Recruitment systems.</li>
<li>High volume recruitment experience required.</li>
<li>Fashion Retail Industry recruitment knowledge is necessary.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft applications (particularly Excel), SuccessFactors and Phenom.</li>
<li>Must be able to work independently and take initiative, hands-on.</li>
<li>Detail oriented and organized.</li>
<li>Strong written &amp; verbal communication skills as well as project management skills.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, building relationships and business acumen skills.</li>

The expected base salary range for this position is from $110,000 - $120,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading all non-sellable merchandise sourcing activities (incl. shop construction, marketing spending, store contractors, and general supplies, etc.) of Hugo Boss Americas. In this role, you will lead complex strategic sourcing initiatives, partner closely with key business stakeholders, and drive commercial value across a broad range of indirect spend categories. 


The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for directing and analyzing how we spend money to ensure it is cost effective (maintains higher profit margins and competitive advantage). The Strategic Sourcing Manager works with internal business partners to develop sourcing strategies, to conduct sourcing projects and negotiate contracts. The individual must have in depth understanding of the total cost of ownership, quality of service and leveraging of supplier relationships.

<li>Own and drive end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for indirect categories, such as IT services, logistics, marketing services, shop construction, and other corporate services.</li>
<li>Partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.</li>
<li>Plan and execute market analyses, competitive tenders, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.</li>
<li>Define and implement category strategies aligned with global procurement objectives.</li>
<li>Negotiate and manage framework agreements with regional and international suppliers.</li>
<li>Identify and realize cost optimization and value creation opportunities beyond pure price (e.g., service levels, risk mitigation, scalability).</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration or a comparable field.</li>
<li>5+ years of professional experience in strategic sourcing or indirect procurement, ideally within an international or complex corporate environment.</li>
<li>Proven experience managing strategic supplier negotiations and multi-stakeholder sourcing projects.</li>
<li>Strong commercial mindset with solid analytical and negotiation skills.</li>
<li>Ability to operate independently and drive topics end-to-end with a high level of ownership.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders.</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.</li></ul>
