Humane World for Animals

The general range for this full-time position is $63,000 – 90,000. Salary offers will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, training and education.
 
The experienced Web Content Marketing Manager will help Humane World for Animals drive permanent, inclusive change for animals around the globe. This role will focus on inbound marketing strategy for Humaneworld.org that enhance brand awareness, expand our reach on search engines, and drive high-quality traffic to convert new supporters. while ensuring our digital content and outreach meaningfully engage diverse cultural, ethnic, and demographic audiences.
 
In addition to driving inbound marketing, this position will develop and adapt messaging, visuals, and campaigns to resonate with multicultural communities primarily in English and Spanish to attract, engage, and convert new donors, volunteers and advocates.
 
Responsibilities: 
Inbound Content Marketing
 <ul>
<li>Develop and implement inbound digital content strategies to attract potential supporters and position Humane World for Animals as a trusted source for animal welfare information;</li>
<li>Manage and optimize content performance through SEO strategies, keyword research, and backlink development;</li>
<li>Analyze data and user trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize website conversion points and user journeys;</li>
<li>Manage a global editorial and content calendar in coordination with marketing, communications, and program teams.</li>
</ul>
Multicultural Marketing & Communications
 <ul>
<li>Tailor content, messaging, and visuals to resonate with culturally and demographically diverse audiences in the U.S. and globally;</li>
<li>Lead the development and localization of content and campaigns in English and Spanish, ensuring cultural relevance, accuracy, and sensitivity;</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants/vendors to produce culturally competent digital content, campaigns, and outreach initiatives;</li>
<li>Identify opportunities for community partnerships, influencer collaborations, and culturally relevant advocacy campaigns to expand reach in multicultural communities;</li>
<li>Stay informed on trends in multicultural and inclusive marketing, integrating best practices into web content and digital engagement strategies.</li>
</ul>
Content Creation
 <ul>
<li>Research, pitch, and produce or collaborate on content for issue-related advocacy and fundraising campaigns, including blogs, toolkits, infographics, fact sheets, and consumer resources;</li>
<li>Support the All Animals magazine team with web exclusives, ensuring multicultural perspectives are incorporated where appropriate.</li>
</ul>
Analytics and Reporting
 <ul>
<li>Analyze data to identify trends and growth opportunities. Measure content marketing performance and collaborate with the Manager, Global Web Marketing to enhance conversion points and user funnels;</li>
<li>Incorporate overall brand, marketing, program and communication strategy into an optimal web user experience.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience required;</li>
<li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital content marketing, including multicultural or bilingual marketing communications, required;</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience developing culturally competent content strategies for diverse audiences;</li>
<li>Portfolio showcasing strong writing, content creation, and campaign examples in both English and Spanish preferred;</li>
<li>Proven ability to translate complex social issues into clear, engaging, and culturally relevant narratives;</li>
<li>Proficient in SEO, website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, MS Clarity);</li>
<li>Knowledge of UX best practices, with ability to adapt user experiences for multicultural audiences;</li>
<li>Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal), project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana), and digital asset management systems;</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office and collaborative content development tools;</li>
<li>Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal);</li>
<li>Deep understanding of multicultural marketing principles and cultural nuances in content strategy, tone, and visual storytelling;</li>
<li>Strong relationship-building skills; able to work effectively across internal teams and with external partners;</li>
<li>Creative problem-solver with a positive, collaborative approach to challenges;</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven, and evolving environment;</li>
<li>Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.</li>
</ul>
