<div>Hunt Electric, Inc is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an High Voltage Apprentice Lineman position in our Transmission and Distribution Division. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical transmission, distribution, and substation systems.

Major Duties:
<ul>
<li>Ability to work productively in a team atmosphere.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret electrical plans and prints, stand for extended periods of time, use both hands, arms, and legs, stoop and bend, and lift 100 pounds.</li>
<li>Attend IPSA Apprentice Schooling, track and turn in monthly on the job and Schooling Hours</li>
<li>Demonstrate skill in pole and tower climbing, URD installations, using hotline tools and working in aerial devices.</li>
<li>Provide effective and meaningful on-the-job training of apprentices and other crew members in maintenance and construction of power lines.</li>
<li>Able to identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit, familiarity with induced voltage, and understanding of proper grounding procedures.</li>
<li>Demonstrate the knowledge of operating equipment safely and maintaining company equipment and tools in good working order.</li>
<li>Capable of performing work in a safe, timely and efficient manner.</li>
<li>Demonstrate skill troubleshooting trouble in primary and secondary systems.</li>
<li>Actively contributes to a positive team environment.</li>
<li>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.</li>
<li>Experience effectively conducting a pre-job or tailboard briefing.</li>
<li>Other duties and locations as assigned by manager.</li></ul> 


Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>You must be 21 years or older to drive with your CDL over state lines.</li>
<li>Enrolled/Attended a certified Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program (copy of certificated required).</li>
<li>Must possess a valid Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (Class &ldquo;A&rdquo;) with ability to meet all DOT requirements.</li>
<li>Must be CPR and First Aid certified or possess the ability to obtain such certification within 90 days of employment.</li>
<li>Must be willing to Travel for extended periods of time.</li></ul> 


This full-time High Voltage Apprentice Lineman position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities. High Voltage Apprentice Lineman

<div>Hunt Electric is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a High Voltage Electrical Estimator position in our Salt Lake City office. The qualified candidate will be responsible for all aspects of bidding transmission, distribution and substation work. 
 The position requires a high level of electrical construction experience, and customer service to build and maintain relationships. Experience with high voltage electrical background is preferred. 


 Major Duties:
<ul>
<li>Bid and prepare cost estimates.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Prepare and oversee preconstruction budgets and scheduling.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Download drawings and bid documents.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Review contract drawings and specifications.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Reach out to vendors for quotes.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Job site visits as required prior to bid.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Create high level project schedule for bid documents.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Prepare bid letters and other documents as required for the bid.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Prepare and present all take-offs, quotes, bid letters and other documents to the electrical division manager for review.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 


Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Five plus years of electrical construction, design, finance, and two years&rsquo; experience/knowledge of electrical project management experience required.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Electrical Estimating Experience in transmission, distribution, switchyards, and substations.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Must be able to multi-task. Bid multiple projects at a time.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Accubid / Construct Jobs proficiency, or other bidding software.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc) and Bluebeam</li></ul> 


Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience managing projects and two years&rsquo; experience/knowledge of electrical construction, design, finance, and management required.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Experience with Accubid, MS Projects, and Blue Beam Preferred.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Capable of managing multiple high-revenue projects.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Primavera P6 Scheduling.</li></ul>

High Voltage Electrical Estimator

<div>Hunt Electric, Inc. of Highlands Ranch, CO is searching for full-time Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team. 
Major Duties:
<ul>
<li>Plan new or modified electrical installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, avoid unsightly, hazardous, or unreliable wiring.</li>
<li>Installations must be consistent with specifications and local building and electrical codes.</li>
<li>Have the ability to follow diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.</li>
<li>Using proper electrical tools, the candidate must be proficient in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assemblies, and electrical raceways, conduit, or wire.</li>
<li>Have experience in pulling conductors through the conduit using the necessary tools from a small fish tape to large wire pulling equipment.</li>
<li>Connect wiring to lighting fixtures, connect power to mechanical and other equipment, and install grounding leads.</li>
<li>Perform various electrical testing such as metering, continuity, amperage, ohm, and voltage measurements of electrical circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.</li>
<li>Perform troubleshooting procedures by observing the functionality of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.</li>
<li>Have the ability to perform &ldquo;lockout tag out&rdquo; procedures enabling the ability to safely repair faulty electrical equipment or systems. 
</li>
<li>Actively contributes to a positive team environment.</li>
<li>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the current National Electrical Code and local electrical codes</li>
<li>Be a self starter.</li>
<li>Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.</li></ul> 


Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Hold a current and valid Colorado Journeyman license.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Knowledge of electrical theory and its application.</li>
<li>Knowledge of safety procedures associated with electrical construction.</li>
<li>Knowledge of common safety procedures of all types.</li>
<li>Knowledge of electrical construction and maintenance practices and procedures.</li>
<li>Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including indoor, outdoor, and underground systems.</li>
<li>Skill in planning, designing, organizing, and executing electrical projects mandated by changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements.</li>
<li>Ability to analyze electrical problems and devise and carry out effective plans for repairing problems.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate technical information, listen to instructions, and ask questions as necessary.</li>
<li>Skill in the practical application of electrical testing devices.</li>
<li>Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical plans, complex circuit schematics, and blueprints.</li>
<li>Ability to perform assigned work independently with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Ability to climb ladders, sufficient mobility to perform duties in small spaces by crouching, stooping, or kneeling, and physical ability to perform tasks requiring strength and finger dexterity.</li>
<li>Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs. Anything that appears too awkward and heavy may require getting help to lift.</li>
<li>Have a valid Driver's License.</li></ul> 


Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($38.00 per Hour Plus). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Hunt Electric, Inc. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Participation in the Company bonus programs for each plan year are subject to management recommendation and internal committee review.
