Job Description

Title: Superintendent Level 4

Department: New York Operations

Reports To: Superintendent, Senior Superintendent and/or Project Manager by project 


Knowledge
<ul>
<li>Knowledgeable in multiple trades</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of OSHA, NYCDOB, FDNY regulations</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of daily huddles, pre-task plans and local law 196</li></ul> 


Skills
<ul>
<li>Responsible for managing select specialty partners or tasks on a project</li>
<li>Responsibility of running the foreman meetings</li>
<li>Able to assist with jobsite layout</li>
<li>Understand and enforce Site Safety Plan</li>
<li>Able to train others on how to perform quality DBO2&rsquo;s</li>
<li>Responsible for coordination of trades, inspectors, vendors etc. to maintain an efficient jobsite</li>
<li>Develop task specific logistic plans and coordinate the work with other members of the team</li>
<li>Responsible for QA/QC which includes accurate reporting for their assigned tasks</li>
<li>Assist lead superintendent in setting up the project</li>
<li>Assist in writing Exhibit A&rsquo;s</li>
<li>General Exhibit A review for schedule and logistics</li>
<li>Continuous review of the ROJ log to confirm dates are acceptable to maintain their schedule</li>
<li>Create and review RFI&rsquo;s</li>
<li>Full understanding of project specs</li>
<li>Completion of daily, high risk and monthly reports on time and accurate</li>
<li>Develop, update and maintain breakout schedules</li>
<li>Review change order scope and schedule impacts</li>
<li>Understanding process and controls of ticket work, review SOV and mark up requisitions</li>
<li>Manage TCO process and assist in punch list process</li></ul> 


Ability
<ul>
<li>Ability to supervise at least one direct report or laborer</li>
<li>Attention to detail</li>
<li>Able to communicate and interact with internal project team and external specialty partners</li>
<li>Exhibits leadership skills</li></ul> 


Minimum Requirements

Previous experience of managing at least 2 direct reports

5-7 years of construction experience

1-2 Years of experience with healthcare construction

NYCDOB Registration required

NYC DOB SST Card required

Salary Range - 110,000 - 150,000

The above salary range represents Hunter Roberts&rsquo;s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards Hunter Roberts provides to employees.</div>

Department: New York Operations

Reports To: Superintendent, Senior Superintendent and/or Project Manager by project 


Knowledge
<ul>
<li>General understanding of the site safety plan</li>
<li>General knowledge of OSHA, NYCDOB and FDNY regulations</li>
<li>General knowledge of Local Law 196</li>
<li>Understand LEED material requirements</li>
</ul>
Skills
<ul>
<li>Participate in foreman meetings for trade specific topics</li>
<li>Understands the layout of the jobsite</li>
<li>Involved with PTP/JHA meetings, review, collect and file</li>
<li>Collect and review daily huddles</li>
<li>Involved with or runs IIF committee meetings</li>
<li>Perform quality DBO2&rsquo;s weekly</li>
<li>Review and ensure correct material is delivered to jobsite</li>
<li>Understands plans, specs and contracts in order to to manage specific specialty partners on site</li>
<li>Responsibility for maintaining permit log and posting permits</li>
<li>Understands Exhibit A&rsquo;s for trade specific work</li>
<li>Understands both general project schedule and trade specific schedules</li>
<li>Tracks manpower on the job</li>
<li>Assist in reviewing change order scope and schedule impacts</li>
<li>Understand inspections, track and closeout NCR&rsquo;s</li>
<li>Assistant Superintendent on the job with close out process including punch list</li></ul>

Ability to understand ROJ log and develop material storage plans based on ROJ

Able to assist in writing exhibit A&rsquo;s
