POSITION AT A GLANCE

WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO
As a Parts Manager, you&rsquo;ll oversee the entire Parts Department to ensure profitability, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. You will:
➤ Forecast goals and objectives for the department and work daily to achieve them.
 
➤ Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor performance of all parts department staff.
 
➤ Develop training and succession plans in collaboration with the Vice President of Fixed Operations and General Manager.
 
➤ Prepare and administer the annual operating budget for the department.
 
➤ Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
 
➤ Attend manager&rsquo;s meetings and maintain industry knowledge.
 
➤ Hold monthly department meetings to communicate updates, new opportunities, and procedure changes.
 
➤ Provide technical assistance and monitor payroll records for department employees.
 
➤ Coordinate workflow, paperwork, and timely processing of shipments and orders.
 
➤ Enforce customer service processes to ensure complete satisfaction.
 
➤ Maintain a clean and safe work environment, enforcing OSHA and safety policies.
 
➤ Manage inventory levels, returns, special orders, and stock procedures.
 
➤ Collaborate with Service and Body Shop managers to ensure timely internal parts availability.
 
➤ Direct outside parts and counter sales efforts, including telemarketing programs.
 
➤ Conduct in-person customer visits and develop sales promotions.
 
➤ Handle customer complaints and assist with collections on past-due accounts.
 
➤ Perform quarterly dirty core inventory and analyze departmental operations for maximum effectiveness.
 
➤ Conduct health and safety training and inspect facilities, operations, and equipment for compliance. 
WHAT YOU BRING<ul><li>Education &amp; Experience: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (BA) from a four-year College or University; 4&ndash;6 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, technical procedures, and regulations; ability to write reports and correspondence; strong presentation skills.</li><li>Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and manage multiple variables in situations with limited standardization; interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.</li><li>Certificates &amp; Licenses: Valid driver&rsquo;s license, must meet company insurability standards. ASE Certifications and Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification preferred.</li><li>Physical Requirements: Regular standing and walking; frequent reaching; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.</li></ul>

WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO
As a Parts Delivery Driver, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for picking up and delivering parts and equipment across our dealership, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors; ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and excellent service. You will:
➤ Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups with the Parts Manager, inventory control, parts counter, and shipping/receiving teams.
➤ Verify invoices match parts and check payments before leaving for deliveries.
➤ Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries and pickups; obtain signatures for each delivery.
➤ Unload trucks each night and turn in all paperwork, cores, and undelivered parts.
➤ Perform basic truck maintenance, including fueling, checking oil, keeping the truck clean, and ensuring inspections are up to date.
➤ Complete weekly vehicle checklists and consult the branch safety council on any concerns.
➤ Ensure vehicle is equipped with all required safety and operational items (fire extinguisher, safety triangles, first aid kit, GPS, EZ Pass, insurance, registration, fuel card).
➤ Report major truck repairs and maintenance needs to the Parts Manager.
➤ Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department and your work vehicle.
➤ Adhere to all health and safety policies, reinforcing a safe working environment. 
WHAT YOU BRING<ul><li>Education &amp; Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred; 1&ndash;3 months of related experience (or equivalent combination).</li><li>Driving &amp; Safety: Valid driver&rsquo;s license required, must meet company insurability standards, and be able to drive across county and state lines.</li><li>Communication Skills: Able to read instructions and manuals, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.</li><li>Certifications: ASE certification or Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist certification preferred.</li><li>Physical Requirements: Regularly stand and walk; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and over 100 lbs occasionally; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.</li></ul>
