<div>POSITION SUMMARY:
The Racquet Sports Court Maintenance position is responsible for ensuring that the tennis and pickleball courts, as well as the surrounding areas, are kept in excellent condition and available daily for member use. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the courts to the highest standards and ensuring that the maintenance shed is clean, organized, and well-stocked. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Make sure tennis courts are swept and lined up each morning.</li><li>
Make sure pickleball courts are clean from debris</li><li>
Squeegee pickleball courts after rain.</li><li>
Keep the Racquet Sports facility clean and well maintained</li><li>
Make sure all the foot baths and ball machines have been put out.</li><li>
Coordinate with the desk staff concerning any court closures due to repairs</li><li>
Make sure daily and weekly assignments are completed.</li><li>
Advise Maintenance Supervisor concerning necessary clay, lines, nails, plastic ties, and calcium chloride needs for the courts.</li><li>
Resurface tennis courts during slow times and summer, paint fence.</li><li>
Be sure the sprinkler system is tested weekly.</li><li>
Assist members with the ball machine.</li><li>
Pick up packages from receiving.</li><li>
Be sure courts are prepared for all special events.</li><li>
Pick up refreshments for league matches and finals of club tournaments.</li><li>
Be sure tennis courts are rolled on a regular schedule and take any necessary steps to roll courts after inclement weather.</li><li>
Make sure the courts are closed at the end of the day for maintenance and watering.</li><li>
Check at the tennis desk so the court lights can be set for evening reservations.</li><li>
Communicate with tennis desk staff concerning daily court status.</li><li>
Put the ball machine after checking with the desk at the end of the day.</li><li>
Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Director of Racquet Sports.</li></ul> 
Education / Experience<ul><li>
Previous experience preferred but not required.</li></ul> 
Licenses or Certificates<ul><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license</li></ul>

Must be reliable and on time</li><li>
Must have good positive communication skills.</li><li>
Must maintain a positive and safe work environment</li><li>
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays</li><li>

Must know about most time-clock systems</li><li>
Must be able to read and write English</li><li>

Must be reliable, conscientious, and work efficiently.</li></ul>

Ability to move quickly and efficiently around the pickleball and tennis courts and facilities, including bending, lifting, and reaching as necessary.</li><li>
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee may be frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</li><li>
Normal vision and hearing ranges required.</li></ul> 
Grooming<ul><li>
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (Specific standards are available).</li><li>
Must be in proper uniform in accordance with Hunters Run dress code.</li></ul>
