 Tutors
 
 
 
 Huntington Learning Center is hiring in-person, part-time tutors who have expertise and experience tutoring in different areas:
 
 
 
 Math Tutors
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Huntington is looking for tutors with the ability to teach math topics ranging from Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus (including AP), through AP Calculus A/B, as well as SAT and ACT-level math.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Reading Comprehension/Writing Tutors
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Huntington is looking for tutors with the ability to teach reading comprehension, vocabulary development, grammar, and writing skills at all grade levels, including the possibility of SAT/ACT-level reading and grammar.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Science Tutors
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Huntington Learning Center is also looking for tutors with the ability and experience teaching such science topics as chemistry, physics, and biology at both non-AP and AP-levels.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements Include
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 4-YEAR DEGREE IS REQUIRED: A bachelor's degree is the minimum degree-level requirement. Candidates without a 4-year degree should not apply.
 </li>
 <li>
 This is an IN-PERSON position: A candidate must be able to work in person. Candidates in remote locations should not apply.
 </li>
 <li>
 Certification/License a plus, but not required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience levels can vary - current and retired teachers are encouraged. Professionals with expertise in other subject areas are welcome to apply.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 The Opportunity

 <li>
 Flexible, part-time hours - afternoon, evening, weekend, and summer. We are open every day.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with students in a 1-to-1 setting, with the potential to work with 1-3 students as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 There are no lesson plans to write or curriculum to develop.
 </li>
 <li>
 No parent-teacher conferences.
 </li>
 <li>
 Actual hourly rate will based on experience, capabilities, and availability.
