Director of Supply Chain</div><div>
Huntsman is seeking a Director of Supply Chain supporting the Performance Products Division located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position will report to the Global Vice President of Supply Chain.</div><div></div><div>
Job Scope</div><div>
The Director of Supply Chain will lead the development and execution of supply chain strategies to improve customer experience, optimize inventory and transportation costs, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. This role will play a key part in enabling the short and long-term objectives of the Performance Products Division by aligning end-to-end supply chain performance with business goals.</div><div></div><div>
In summary, as the Director of Supply Chain, you will:</div><ul><li><div>
Develop and execute a supply chain strategy that aligns with customer needs, operational footprint, and cost and asset performance.</div></li><li><div>
Identify process inefficiencies and implement best practices to ensure continuous product supply while balancing inventory and transportation costs.</div></li><li><div>
Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team by providing clear roles, coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with sites and internal/external customers to create a consolidated reporting system for order backlog, status, and shipment forecasting.</div></li><li><div>
Analyze cross-functional areas (e.g., Customer Service, Manufacturing, Distribution) to identify synergies and implement performance improvements related to customer service metrics (on-time, in-full delivery).</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Qualifications:</div><div></div><div>
Minimum Qualifications</div><ul><li><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master&rsquo;s degree with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience.</div></li><li><div>
At least 5+ years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to procurement, sourcing, or operations management.</div></li><li><div>
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in leading and developing teams.</div></li><li><div>
Strong practitioner knowledge of supply chain principles and practices.</div></li><li><div>
Working knowledge of manufacturing supply chain strategies and ERP systems.</div></li><li><div>
Proficiency in project management and reporting.</div></li><li><div>
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities.</div></li><li><div>
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.</div></li><li><div>
Must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>

The main focus will be on customers within sectors: Automotive, Furnitures, Composite Panels and Footwear. The position is a full-time contract, base in Istanbul, Tuzla with up to 30-50% travel.</div><div></div><div><br>

 Maintain company standards regarding safety and compliance whilst promoting Huntsman&rsquo;s corporate principals and company values in all areas of your work.</li><li> Manage &amp; develop all company accounts to manage profitable growth using value selling principles</li><li> Identify Business/market opportunities to ensure our constant growth within a fast-moving market in Turkey, Middle East &amp; Central Asia. Understand customer needs to identify Huntsman products and services to meet those requirements.</li><li> Act as a growth &amp; development champion by exceeding annual volume &amp; margin targets. What we are looking for:</div><ul><li> 5-10 years&rsquo; Experience in an Account and Business Development Management role within the specialty and/or commodity chemical sectors within a complex and multinational organisation.</li><li> Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related disciplines.</li><li> Fluency in Turkish and English is a must.</li><li> Demonstrable negotiation skills and track record of leading value selling techniques combined with a strong background in an international environment while developing new markets.</li><li> Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues as part of a regional sales team.</li><li> High level of team effectiveness with the ability to contribute to cross functional groups involving Marketing, Technical Service, Supply Chain and Customer Service.</li><li> Previous experience in key account management and maximising market share in existing customer bases.</li><li> Willingness to travel up to 30% - 50 % of time.</li><li> Highly driven personality with the ability to adapt well in a fast-moving industry &amp; to develop business opportunities.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
