Responsibilities will include: Physician systems orientation, CPOE execution, on-boarding, training and meaningful use compliance.

Education:</b> BSN required. Degree in clinical informatics or RNBC (Board Certified by the ANCC in nursing informatics) preferred.</div><div><b>

Clinical Informatics Specialist-Technical Services-FT-1st shift

<div>Overview:

This position represents patient care directed toward pediatric critical care areas; step down areas, and general care areas</div>
Qualifications:
<div><b>
Education/Licensure/Certifications: </b>HS/GED Required. Must be licensed by the ASBRT and registered by the NBRC or credentialed as a Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) by the NBRC. Certification of PALS and NRP are preferred for all applicants and are mandatory within one year. Certification of BLS is preferred for hire processes and required within the orientation period, not to exceed 90 days of hire or transfer. Certification of ACLS is preferred.</div><div><b>
Experience: </b>Clinical experience obtained while attending Respiratory program and will be able to function in critical settings including initiation, and support of, mechanical ventilation. Additional experience relating to intubation and pediatric transport competencies are preferred upon hire.</div><div><b>
Additional Skills/Abilities: </b>Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must have the ability to perform and recommend procedures in all areas of bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, respiratory diagnostic procedures, and all levels of mechanical ventilation.

Respiratory Therapy RRT Peds - PRN -1st Shift

Job Summary:
</b></div><div>Transports items to and from Decatur Morgan Hospital facilities in a timely and safe manner. Utilizes proper handling techniques when transporting specimens, documents accurately, maintains equipment, and collects cash and tokens from parking decks timely.</div>
Responsibilities:<br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Follows directions and performs work according to hospital Standards of Behavior and Code of Conduct; completes duties during the assigned shift with few exceptions</li><li>
Perform duties with little or no supervision.</li><li>
Transports items to and from Decatur Morgan facilities; Obtains proper signatures for items delivered.Maintains equipment in proper working order.</li></ul><ul><li>
Performs all courier runs in a timely manner, following criteria established by Transport and avoiding inconvenience to patients/customers.</li><li>
Utilizes proper handling techniques for picking up specimens, including the appropriate use of coolers, specimen bags, cool packs and dry ice.</li><li>
Documents each specimen pick-up and delivery, maintaining an accurate record count.</li><li>
Maintains cleanliness of vehicles, both inside and out and communicate all maintenance issues to the Fleet Manager. Does not smoke or allow others to smoke in the hospital vehicles</li><li>
Uses communication equipment effectively and professionally.</li><li>
Ability to operate postage and copy equipment as well as provide minor maintenance.</li><li>
Sort hospital mail by department in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>
Responsible for collecting tokens and cash from parking decks in a timely manner.</li><li>
Reports all incidents involving the Decatur Morgan Hospital vehicle to immediate supervisor.</li><li>
Obtains any police reports of accidents involving Decatur Morgan Hospital vehicle.</li><li>
Complies with safety policies and procedures, reporting safety hazards and initiating appropriate action.</li><li>

The APP (NP/PA) provides comprehensive direct patient care and scholarly practice including obtaining comprehensive patient histories, performing complete physical examination, ordering and performing diagnostic testing and screening, diagnosing illness, prescribing both pharmacological and other treatments for patients, and providing health maintenance and promotion interventions such as patient and family education and counseling. Also, the APP assumes accountability for indirect care responsibilities, which support patient care including staff and student education, clinical research if applicable, program development, and quality improvement. Assists in clerical functions as necessary.</div>
Qualifications:
