The Litigation Docket Specialist is responsible for monitoring assigned shared mailboxes and related docket requests and docketing same in a timely manner according to firm guidelines and procedures utilizing the firm&rsquo;s litigation docketing software. The Litigation Docket Specialist reports to the Litigation Docket Manager and will assist the Litigation Docket Manager as needed and directed in additional projects within the Docket Team. Essential job functions include:
<ul>
<li>Independently docket for designated assignment group (multiple offices and/or practice groups), including:
<ul><li>Review and comprehend documents submitted to ensure all deadlines are identified and docketed.</li>
<li>Review court and/or agency dockets as needed.</li>
<li>Verify jurisdiction, court/venue, and relevant authorities.</li>
<li>Verify the accuracy of docketed items and deadlines generated.</li>
<li>Ensure the accuracy of timekeepers assigned to matters.</li>
</ul></li><li>Create, review, and distribute accurate matter reports.</li>
<li>Research statutory, agency, court, and individual judges&rsquo; rules and practices and apply them appropriately.</li>
<li>Respond professionally and constructively to requests from timekeepers and staff regarding docketed dates, agency, and court rules and procedures.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Litigation Docket Manager to continually improve the firm&rsquo;s docketing best practices, policies, and processes.</li>
<li>Assist the Docket Team with special projects as needed.</li>
<li>Remain current with developments, procedures, and rules in courts and agencies within the designated assignment group.</li> 
</ul>
Position Requirements
<ul>
<li>2&#8208;year degree or Paralegal Certificate required; 4&#8208;year degree in related field preferred; or combination of education and commensurate work experience.</li>
<li>3-5 years of litigation docketing experience with specific experience using CompuLaw Vision preferred.</li>
<li>3-5 years of litigation experience in various federal and state courts that included calculating and calendaring deadlines.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules, and procedures.</li>
<li>Proficient knowledge of federal, state, and local court systems, as well as administrative and government agencies.</li>
<li>Ability to research and apply statutory/agency and/or court rules and procedures for any jurisdiction.</li>
<li>Ability to use Pacer.gov, PacerPro, and other legal resources and websites to obtain case dockets, rules, and procedures.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and internet research; ability to prepare, export, edit, filter, sort, search, and reformat large spreadsheets within Excel.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and resourcefulness.</li>
<li>Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:

<li>State of Colorado: $58,000 - $103,000</li>
<li>State of Illinois: $57,000 - $110,000</li>
<li>State of Massachusetts: $63,000 - $120,000</li>
<li>State of Maryland: $61,000 - $92,000</li>
<li>State of Minnesota: $63,000 - $104,000</li>
<li>Jersey City, NJ: $68,000 - $123,000</li>
<li>State of New York: $58,000 - $126,000</li>
<li>State of Vermont: $62,000 - $119,000</li>
<li>State of Washington: $61,000 - $115,000</li>
<li>Washington, D.C.: $81,000 - $119,000</li>
</ul>
The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance. The Learning Designer is responsible for achieving desired learning outcomes through design and development of appropriate learning resources and delivery modes for a variety of audiences. Essential functions include:

<li>Build instructionally sound, creative, and high-quality learning products to meet organizational needs.</li>
<li>Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop engaging content for a variety of audiences and delivery modes (eLearning, blended learning) with clear strategies and tactics to achieve desired learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Develop eLearning courses and supplemental materials using common industry tools, such as Articulate Suite, Camtasia, and Canva (or similar visual design tools).</li>
<li>Build supporting materials (storyboards, summaries, etc.) as needed to demonstrate vision to subject matter experts, obtain support and buy-in, and match their process workflow.</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members; maintain and revise existing learning products; ensure content is relevant and efficient while achieving desired learning objectives.</li>
<li>Demonstrate strong visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail; ensure deliverables are error-free, fully functional, and professional in appearance.</li>
<li>Apply adult learning theory when creating, updating, and evaluating course materials.</li>
<li>Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) before submitting drafts to subject matter experts.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, organize and prioritize work effectively, and deliver on time.</li>
<li>Communicate verbally in a professional and effective way.</li>

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

<li>2+ years&rsquo; experience as an instructional designer in a professional services environment, and/or 4-year degree with significant coursework in Training, Instructional Design, or Computer Sciences.</li>
<li>2+ years&rsquo; experience with eLearning development and visual design tools, such as Articulate, Camtasia, Canva, etc.</li>
<li>Comfortable conducting meetings with stakeholders and delivering presentations in both informal team settings and structured professional development sessions.</li>
<li>Experience applying adult learning theory and best-practice learning methodologies that support learner engagement, knowledge comprehension and retention, and skill development.</li>
<li>Ability to carry out the function of the position in a confidential manner.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize workflow and organize diverse material .</li>
