The Medical Assistant or LPN assists physicians and professional staff with delegated responsibilities to provide quality services to all customers.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><div>
Assists the medical staff to help patients maintain health, or promote healing. Performs patient care duties with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.</div></li><li><div>
Performs technical skills specific to assigned service area and other areas as appropriate</div></li><li><div>
Provides quality service to all internal customers. Assists all support service areas, as needed.</div></li><li><div>
Provides excellent customer service to patients, families and internal contacts using AIDET.</div></li><li><div>
Accepts responsibility for professional growth and continuing education</div></li><li><div>
Accepts responsibility and assures quality, cost effective patient care</div></li><li><div>
Accepts responsibility for communication with all customers. Uses proper verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with patients, families and other health disciplines to support the continuum of healthcare delivery.</div></li><li><div>
Performs all other related duties as assigned.</div></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Education, Training or Degree Required:</b></p><p>
1. Medical Assistant Program Graduate or LPN registered in State MN</p><p></p><p><b><br>
License/Registration/Certification Required: </b>(will be primary source verified by HR)</p><ul><li><div>
Current LPN license in the State of Minnesota or Medical Assistant certification or registration preferred.</div></li><li><div>
Current CPR certification required</div></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Experience and Skills: </b>(indicate preferred or required)</p><ul><li><div>
Previous Medical Assistant or LPN experience in a clinic setting preferred.</div></li><li><div>
Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to patients served, along with appropriate support services to MD, NP and PA required. Familiarity with legal and insurance requirements related to documentation within the medical record required.</div></li><li><div>
Strong human relations, written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to work without direct supervision.</div></li></ul></div></div><p></p>

<div>Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our ranges may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities as well as internal equity. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation based on role (e.g., shift differential, bonus, sales incentive, productivity pay, etc.).</div>
