Patient Care Tech (PCT) - Pulmonary - PRN<div>
Essential Responsibilities:</div><div><i>

Complete timely and accurate documentation as per Health System/affiliate policy.</li><li>
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients as described in unit/department-based competencies, policies, and procedures.</li><li>
Provide care as directed to achieve desired patient outcomes for patients newborn thru geriatric.</li><li>
Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values.</li><li>
Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).</li><li>
Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.</li></ul></div></div></div><div></div><div>

Required License/Certifications/Registrations</div><ul><li>
Current BLS/CPR card prior to participating in patient care activities.</li><li>
Successful completion of on the job training for sterile technique, maintenance of sterile field and instrument care/handling (Obstetrics and Surgery)</li><li>
Successful completion of on the job EKG and phlebotomy training (Emergency)</li></ul><div></div><div>
Preferred Qualifications:</div><div>
Preferred Education and Experience</div><ul><li>
Previous exposure to a medical environment.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Preferred License/Certifications/Registrations</div><ul><li>
Certification as a MA, CNA, EMT, or HHA in the state of Kansas</li><li>

Basic computer skills. Moderate computer skills required for Telesitter.</li><li>
