 with strong financial domain expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
 
 ETL pipeline development

 , with a solid understanding of
 
 data warehousing concepts
 
 . Exposure to banking, fintech, or financial services is essential.
 
 
 This role requires someone who can
 
 hit the ground running
 
 due to a critical project deadline. Finance knowledge is key, as the position involves optimizing data warehouses and consolidating financial data such as
 
 budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and P&amp;L reports
 
 .
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design, build, and maintain
 
 ETL pipelines
 
 for financial data processing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and optimize
 
 SQL Server T-SQL procedures/functions
 
 for batch processing and reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and manage
 
 SAS EG and SAS DI jobs
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, balance sheet, profit and loss).
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to
 
 data warehouse design
 
 , data modeling, and database management solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure data quality and accuracy for month-end close, risk reporting, and regulatory compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Research and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Education:
 
 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Experience:
 
 Minimum 5+ years in
 
 Data Engineering
 
 within
 
 Banking/Finance
 
 domain.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Technical Skills:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 SQL Development (SQL Server), Oracle, Teradata
 </li>
 <li>
 SAS EG / SAS DI
 </li>
 <li>
 ETL Tools and Processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Data Warehousing &amp; Data Modeling
 </li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Domain Expertise:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Financial reporting (Balance Sheet, P&amp;L, Risk Reporting, Budgets, Income Statement Forecasts)
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 </ul>
 Preferred Profile:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Banking or financial services experience (Finance Department exposure).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of
 
 regulatory compliance
 
 and
 
 risk management

 Ability to work on-site in Bahrain.
 </li>
