<b>Job Summary:</b><br>
The Quality Engineer drives innovation and enhances the Quality culture within the plant. This role involves leveraging data, process expertise, and insights from team members to identify and implement effective solutions. Responsibilities include educating, coaching, and training team members to foster a strong commitment to Quality. In addition to supporting routine Quality department functions, the Quality Engineer leads improvement initiatives across various departments, ensuring the quality and compliance of products and processes.

What you will be doing
<br>Work directly on the shop floor with operators to integrate quality thinking and foster local problem-solving, facilitating a cultural transition.
<br>Lead and support various manufacturing projects aimed at enhancing product quality, equipment efficiency, workplace environment, and team members’ daily tasks.
<br>Utilize data analysis, visual inspections, and feedback on reported concerns to identify internal product and process issues. Coordinate both short- and long-term resolutions with involved team members.
<br>Actively listen to operator feedback to identify and resolve issues, utilizing available site resources to implement solutions.
<br>Contribute to a learning organization by teaching and coaching shop floor personnel. Share technical knowledge and reactionary logic based on observations of process deviations.
<br>Continuously pursue deeper knowledge in specific areas (such as extrusion, painting, fabrication) to drive innovative solutions.
<br>Assist in internal investigations of customer complaints and provide support for containment measures as needed.
<br>Organize and oversee internal product and process trials on the shop floor.
<br>Collaborate with team members to ensure proper disposition of suspect materials, providing rationale for decisions and guidance.
<br>Partner with colleagues across the organization to benchmark and standardize best practices.
<br>Uphold high standards for quality compliance and ethical behavior within the manufacturing environment, particularly in laboratories. Coach and train direct reports on compliance and ethical practices.

<br>What will make you successful?
<br><br>
<b>Required Education/Experience:</b><br>
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
<br>Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing quality engineering.
<br>Trained in proactive problem-solving with expertise in various structured methodologies.
<br><br>
<b>Preferred Skills/Qualifications:</b><br>
ISO 9001 Auditing Certification.
<br>Ability to work openly and collaboratively with diverse leadership and departmental teams.
<br>Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities.
<br>Proficiency in all forms of English communication.
<br>Strong and transparent communication skills with relevant departments.
<br>Willingness to identify needs for change and implement effective solutions.
<br>Highly motivated, creative, and results-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
<br>Ability to efficiently manage daily, weekly, and monthly compliance activities and sampling for required certifications.

The Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in supporting fair, competitive, and compliant pay practices at Hydro Extrusion North America (ENA). This position owns the end‑to‑end job evaluation and job architecture assignment process, ensuring roles are consistently evaluated to support internal equity and market alignment.</p><p>
As a subject‑matter expert in Mercer&rsquo;s International Position Evaluation (IPE) methodology, the Compensation Analyst partners closely with HR and business leaders to evaluate new and evolving roles, maintain job structures, and support sound compensation decisions. This role is not a systems, HRIS, or IT analyst position; it is focused on compensation analysis, job evaluation governance, and advisory support.</p><p>
Based at ENA&rsquo;s Business Unit Headquarters in Rosemont, IL, this role offers a hybrid/flexible work schedule and contributes to pay equity analysis, market benchmarking, annual merit and incentive review cycles, regulatory compliance, and strategic compensation initiatives&mdash;while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of compensation data.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What you will be doing</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Own and administer the end‑to‑end job evaluation and job architecture process using Mercer&rsquo;s International Position Evaluation (IPE) methodology</li><li>
Serve as the primary subject‑matter expert for job evaluation, advising HR partners and business leaders on role design, leveling, and internal alignment</li><li>
Evaluate new, evolving, and redesigned roles and ensure consistent application of job architecture standards</li><li>
Maintain job evaluation guidelines, documentation, and governance to ensure consistency, transparency, and audit readiness</li><li>
Support compensation actions including promotions, transfers, and organizational changes</li><li>
Administer and support the annual merit and short‑term incentive review processes</li><li>
Conduct market benchmarking and salary survey participation to support competitive pay decisions</li><li>
Analyze pay equity trends, perform FLSA testing, and support compensation compliance initiatives</li><li>
Maintain accurate compensation data and records within HR systems and reporting tools</li><li>
