Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Independent and responsible performance of diversified maintenance and repair work requiring specialized training, experience, and skills. Duties include the fully satisfactory performance of maintaining and trouble-shooting equipment in the following areas:</li><li>
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on a wide variety of machines and major building systems.</li><li>
Complete maintenance checklists and inventory lists of Machines, A/C Units, Air compressors, Chillers, Mist/Dust collectors, and Coolant filtration systems.</li><li>
Implement and carry out preventative maintenance practices.</li><li>
Oversee requests to vendors for completion of machinery and equipment maintenance items and monitor vendor maintenance while on-site.</li><li>
Engineer and develop specialized machines, work fixturing, and processes for production purposes (Ex: Retrofits/CNC Conversions)</li><li>
Implement continuous improvement practices.</li><li>
Communicate purchase requests with procurement or manager.</li><li>
Perform equipment downtime and root cause failure analysis.</li><li>
Develop and implement maintenance practices for new equipment installation and start-up.</li><li>
Perform repairs to building and grounds such as painting, plumbing, flooring, doors and lighting.</li><li>
Participate in the development of safe work procedures (i.e.LOTO)<br>

Qualifications</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Must possess strong electro/mechanical skills training or relevant maintenance experience.</li><li>
Knowledge of modern predictive maintenance technologies</li><li>
Good communication skills are required, both verbally and in writing</li><li>
Able to identify problems and update working methods, propose and implement ideas to improve processes.</li><li>
Follow EHS, quality and 6S procedures.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Technical Skills/Physical Requirements</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Requires lifting up-to 75 lbs.</li><li>
The physical demands of this position involve standing or walking including stairs.</li><li>
Engaging in activities such as bending, lifting, sitting, turning, and repetitive motion, generally in an indoor weather-controlled environment. The position involves some risk of exposure to injuries related to the physical demands of the job and requires close attention to detail and safety protocols.</li><li>
The position also requires visual and communication skills in observation of machine work and in communicating with co-workers, as well as in reading written instructions.
