Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Failure Analysis Technician with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provide support to manufacturing and customer service teams, replicating and troubleshooting field failures.
</li><li>Drive technical issues to closure by working with internal and field engineers to identify, track, root cause, and resolve issues.
</li><li>Perform PCBA-level troubleshooting and component-level FA to identify root causes of hardware failures.
</li><li>Use diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, thermal imaging cameras, X-ray, and others.
</li><li>Troubleshot power delivery issues, signal integrity problems, and component defects on hyperscale servers.
</li><li>Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal teams in support of overall company objectives.
</li></ul>Education and Work Experience:
<ul><li>One year of equivalent industry experience.
</li><li>BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science is a plus.
</li></ul>Job Complexity and Supervision:
<ul><li>Works on problems of moderate scope.
</li><li>Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
</li><li>Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
</li><li>Comfortable in a fast-moving business and team environment
</li><li>Excellent communication skills&mdash;written and verbal.
</li><li>Attention to detail and process.
</li><li>Self-starter and highly motivated.
</li></ul>Physical Demands:
<ul><li>Extensive use of computer equipment, and frequent telephone activity.
</li><li>Periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing are required.
</li><li>Activities such as bending and occasionally lifting to 40 pounds.
</li><li>Employees must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by Company policy.
