<div><p>JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Principal Software Engineer takes the lead role in development of software for a particular application. Authors and negotiates software requirements, defines architectures, selects component libraries and brings a software application to fruition. This position&rsquo;s specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><p></p><p><br>
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:</p><div><ul><li>
Experience with software development in a highly regulated environment</li><li>
Experience developing software in the context of a Quality Management System</li><li>
Experience writing software requirements specifications</li><li>
Experience writing test specifications</li><li>
Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Experience with CT imaging systems</li><li>
Desired skills in data acquisition software, machine control software.</li><li>
Desired experience with radiation emitting devices.</li><li>
Desired experience with Graphical User Interfaces for internal use (engineering, service, manufacturing)</li><li>
May include other duties as assigned and/or special projects.</li></ul></div><p></p><p><br>
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</p><div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent amount of education and training.</li><li>
8 years of industry-related experience is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li></ul></div><p></p><p><br>
 PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:</p><div><ul><li>
Office Environment.</li><li>
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.</li><li>
Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).</li><li>
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.</li><li>
The employee will likely be placed in an office. The work environment characteristics are representative of those of an employee encounter while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation.</li><li>
Able to work sitting or stand at desk and operate a computer via standard input devices such as using a keyboard and reading information on a monitor.</li></ul></div><p></p><p><br>

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:</p><div><ul><li>
