AutoCAD Engineer - Electrical An electrical automation engineer with AutoCAD skills specializes in designing and implementing automated control systems, from initial schematics to final installation.Key responsibilities:<ul><li>Design and drafting: Using AutoCAD Electrical to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, including electrical schematics, panel layouts, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.</li><li>Automation system integration: Designing how electrical components interface with automated systems controlled by technologies like PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and SCADA.</li><li>Documentation and reporting: Creating accurate project documentation such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), wire lists, and technical reports.</li><li>Collaboration: Working with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical and structural engineers, to ensure designs are accurate, coordinated, and meet project specifications.</li><li>Standard compliance: Ensuring all electrical designs adhere to relevant industry and international standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA, IEEE).</li><li>Troubleshooting and support: Providing technical support during the fabrication, assembly, and testing phases of control panels and automated systems.</li></ul>Essential skills and qualifications:<ul><li>AutoCAD Electrical proficiency: Strong, demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a primary requirement.
