We value the well being and satisfaction of our employees, and provide excellent working conditions to foster the spirit of teamwork.Responsibilities :<ul><li>Perform routine accounting functions, including recording financial transactions, verifying and reconciling entries, and maintaining ledgers and other books of account.</li><li>Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, budgets, and to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.</li><li>Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments and collections.</li><li>Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.</li><li>Monitor cash flows and financial status, including the preparation of cash flow statements and forecasting.</li><li>Prepare the annual financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.</li><li>Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.</li><li>Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support on various projects and initiatives.</li><li>Stay abreast with the relevant accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate financial advice.</li></ul>Qualification and Experience :<ul><li>A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, B.Com is preferred.</li><li>3 years experience as an accountant or in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution or non-profit organisation (NGO).</li><li>Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and relevant accounting principles and tax regulations.</li><li>Familiarity with Indian accounting standards and regulations is desirable.</li><li>Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills with special attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Proficiency in using accounting software, Google One/ Google Drive, MS products, and other online resources.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information and related matters.</li></ul>How to Apply :Interested candidates should submit their resume, along with a covering letter highlighting their experience.
