Overview Looking for a Local self motivated CDL driver to join our dynamic team as a Roll-Off Driver and become a vital part of our waste management and disposal operations! In this energetic role, you will operate various types of trucks&mdash;including roll-off, front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, and flatbeds&mdash;to efficiently transport and deliver waste containers. Your expertise will ensure safe, timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining excellent customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills and mechanical knowledge in a fast-paced environment dedicated to environmental sustainability and community service.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbed vehicles to load, unload, and transport waste containers.</li><li>Load and unload containers with precision, ensuring secure placement for transportation.</li><li>Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure safety compliance.</li><li>Drive heavy-duty trucks with manual transmissions across various routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.</li><li>Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, using mechanical tools or manual effort to handle containers or equipment.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing excellent customer service.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, vehicle maintenance, and safety checks for compliance purposes.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or similar heavy-duty vehicles.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting.</li><li>Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmissions is preferred.</li><li>Ability to operate front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks confidently.</li><li>Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling of containers or equipment in various weather conditions.</li><li>Excellent driving skills combined with a safety-first mindset; familiarity with load &amp; unload procedures is essential.</li><li>Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable; familiarity with route planning and time management will set you apart.
