Job Title: Stock Management-Material &amp; Logistics Location: ChennaiExperiences: 1-2 years <ul><li>Scheduled &amp; Surprise Stock Audits</li><li>Conduct periodic (Monthly, twice/quarterly/yearly) and surprise physical stock verifications as per organisational policy.</li><li>Tagging and Label Verification</li><li>Verify that all items are properly tagged/labelled with item codes, descriptions, and status (usable, damaged, obsolete, etc.).</li><li>Discrepancy Identification &amp; Reporting</li><li>Identify variations or mismatches (shortages, excess, wrong items) and prepare discrepancy reports for further investigation.</li><li>Documentation and Reporting</li><li>Record and submit detailed stock verification reports, including date, time, team members involved, and variance remarks.</li><li>Condition Assessment</li><li>Assess the physical condition of stored items and flag any items that are damaged, expired, or not as per quality standards.</li><li>Coordination with Store &amp; QC Team</li><li>Work closely with storekeepers, QC members, and project teams to clarify issues, validate entries, and resolve anomalies.</li><li>Audit Preparedness</li><li>Assist in preparing inventory documentation for internal/external audits, including sign-offs and reconciliation sheets.</li><li>Inventory Categorisation</li><li>Classify items during verification as active, slow-moving, or obsolete for inventory optimisation.</li><li>Security &amp; Compliance Adherence</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety protocols, stockroom access policies, and inventory handling procedures during verification.</li><li>Support for Year-End Closure</li><li>Provide support in year-end stock closure, reconciliation, and reporting for financial statements.</li><li>Material loading and unloading.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Inward Material Verification&middot; Inspect all incoming materials for physical damage, quantity, make, model, and compliance with purchase orders and technical specifications.&middot; Verify against approved vendor lists and data sheets.2. Pre-Installation QC Checks&middot; Perform pre-installation testing of components (e.g., cameras, NVRs, switches, routers) to ensure functional readiness before dispatch to project sites.3. Field Installation Config Details&middot; Visit project sites to verify proper installation, mounting, labelling, and configuration as per requirement.4. Outgoing Material Quality Check&middot; Validate all materials being sent to sites or customers for correctness and completeness, including accessories and consumables.5. System Testing and Commissioning Support&middot; Assist in end-to-end system testing, including video feed checks, connectivity, power testing, and uptime validation.6. Report Generation&middot; Maintain and submit detailed QC reports with remarks, test results, and photographic evidence where applicable.7. Tool &amp; Calibration Verification&middot; Ensure all QC tools and instruments used are calibrated and functioning correctly.8. Coordination with Other Departments&middot; Liaise with Stores, Purchase, Logistics, and Project Teams for real-time updates and resolution of QC issues.9.
