About This Role:
Position Summary
The Strategic Health Systems Director (SHSD) is a senior individual contributor responsible for driving enterprise adoption and revenue growth within a defined portfolio of large, complex health systems and IDNs.
This role serves as the primary commercial owner of health system strategy in their region, translating national priorities into executable system-level partnerships, agreements, and clinical integration plans. 
Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, the SHSD engages C-suite and service line leadership, leads complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and ensures iRhythm solutions are embedded into clinical workflows, EHR infrastructure, and cardiovascular care pathways.
Success in this role is defined by the ability to secure enterprise commitments, scale adoption across care settings, and deliver measurable business impact across the assigned region.<div></div>
Core Responsibilities
Regional Health System Ownership &amp; Growth Execution<ul><li>
Own a defined regional portfolio of priority IDNs and health systems, with full accountability for revenue growth, adoption, and expansion.</li><li>
Execute against enterprise account plans aligned to national health system strategy, ensuring consistent and scalable deployment across the region.</li><li>
Drive system-wide standardization of the Zio platform across cardiology and adjacent care pathways (e.g., ED, PCP networks, structural heart programs).</li></ul><div></div>
Enterprise Selling &amp; Strategic Deal Execution<ul><li>
Lead complex, multi-year enterprise sales cycles, including contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and partnership structuring.</li><li>
Secure system-level agreements that expand access, utilization, and long-term revenue within assigned accounts.</li><li>
Navigate matrixed stakeholder environments, aligning clinical, financial, IT, and operational priorities.</li></ul><div></div>
Executive Stakeholder Engagement<ul><li>
Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite, service line leaders, and clinical champions across health systems.</li><li>
Position iRhythm as a strategic partner in cardiovascular care transformation, not a transactional vendor.</li><li>
Influence decision-making through data-driven value narratives, including clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and economic impact.</li></ul><div></div>
Clinical Workflow &amp; EHR Integration Leadership<ul><li>
Drive EHR integration and workflow optimization as a core lever for enterprise adoption and scalability.</li><li>
Partner with internal and customer IT/clinical informatics teams to ensure seamless embedding of Zio into order sets and care pathways.</li><li>
Translate integration efforts into measurable commercial outcomes (e.g., prescriber growth, retention, utilization lift).</li></ul><div></div>
Cross-Functional Execution &amp; Field Alignment<ul><li>
Align closely with field sales, Digital Solutions, KAMs, Market Access, Clinical, and Customer Experience teams to operationalize enterprise strategy.</li><li>
Lead system-level business planning and quarterly reviews, ensuring visibility to performance, risks, and opportunities.</li><li>
Act as the regional point of integration across functions to execute complex health system initiatives.</li></ul><div></div>
Performance Ownership &amp; Market Insight<ul><li>
Own regional performance against quota, growth targets, and system-level KPIs.</li><li>
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and deal progression discipline.</li><li>
Provide market intelligence and customer insights to inform broader commercial and product strategy.</li></ul><div></div>

Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH, etc.)</li><li>
12+ years of experience in enterprise healthcare sales, strategic accounts, or IDN engagement</li><li>
Demonstrated success managing large, complex health systems with multi-site influence</li><li>
Proven ability to close enterprise-level deals and drive system-wide adoption</li><li>
Strong understanding of health system economics, EHR ecosystems (Epic, Cerner), and care delivery models</li><li>
Experience in cardiology, diagnostics, or digital health strongly preferred</li><li>
Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead without authority</li><li>

The Senior Purchasing Category Manager is responsible for developing and executing category strategies for Information Technology, Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS), and Travel &amp; Expense categories. This role partners closely with IT, Finance, Legal, Security, HR, and business stakeholders to optimize spend, manage supplier relationships, mitigate risk, and deliver sustainable cost savings while enabling business growth and innovation.
The position requires strong strategic sourcing expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence at senior levels across a complex, fast‑paced organization.
Key Responsibilities
Category Strategy &amp; Sourcing<ul><li>
Develop and execute multi‑year category strategies for IT hardware, software, SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, telecom, and travel programs</li><li>
Lead end‑to‑end strategic sourcing initiatives including RFx, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract execution</li><li>
Drive measurable value through cost savings, demand management, standardization, and value‑added supplier initiatives</li><li>
Stay current on market trends, emerging technologies, licensing models, and supplier landscapes</li></ul>
Stakeholder Partnership<ul><li>
Serve as a trusted procurement advisor to IT leadership, Finance, Legal, Security, HR, and business units</li><li>
Balance cost, risk, service levels, and innovation while supporting business objectives</li><li>
Influence requirements early in the buying cycle to ensure optimal commercial outcomes</li></ul>
Supplier &amp; Contract Management<ul><li>
Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance for key IT, SaaS, and travel vendors</li><li>
Lead contract negotiations including MSAs, SaaS subscriptions, licensing, SLAs, renewals, and amendments</li><li>
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements</li><li>
Proactively manage renewals, usage optimization, and vendor rationalization</li></ul>
Governance, Risk &amp; Compliance<ul><li>
Support third‑party risk, information security, and data privacy reviews</li><li>
Track spend, savings, and supplier performance metrics</li><li>
Ensure alignment with internal controls, travel policies, and audit requirements</li></ul>
Travel Category Management<ul><li>
Own corporate travel programs including airlines, hotels, ground transportation, TMCs, and expense platforms</li><li>
Partner with Finance and HR to enforce travel policy compliance and enhance employee experience</li><li>
Identify opportunities to optimize travel spend and improve program effectiveness</li></ul>
About you:
Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required</li><li>
10-12 years relevant experience in strategic sourcing required</li><li>
Knowledge and previous experience in the indirect areas including consulting services, human resources, IT, legal services, facility services and accounting services</li><li>
Experience with ERP System QAD and manufacturing processes is preferred.</li><li>
Candidates for this position must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and be comfortable with other computer systems including the internet and database programs.</li><li>
Candidates must have a confident and consistent approach to customer and vendor contact.</li><li>
This position requires strong negotiation skills, communication skills, and fluency in English.</li><li>
Organization and attention to detail are vital.</li><li>
Self-starter, fast learner, and strong collaborator: there is no job too big or too small if it contributes to the company&rsquo;s goals and makes our business better</li><li>
Medical Device, Pharma, or Biotech experience; understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations is a plus.</li><li>
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy is a plus.</li><li>

In Home Office Requirements: We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High Speed internet over 50 MBPS for upload capacity and 150 MBPS for download capabilities. It is required that a plug in directly to the home internet router is available for network stability. In Office Potential: At times though out the year, in-office attendance may be requested of you, based on your location to an office. Advanced notice will be provided for all outside of IT Helpdesk needs as those will need to be managed as they come up so that you can complete your daily tasks.

Quality Scores, all activities are subject to a quality review and quality scores must be at or above minimum acceptable rate.</li><li>
Unavailable time, adherence to schedule and time available for calls and activities. A specific amount of time is set aside for lunch, breaks, meetings that will not be counted in the metrics.</li><li>
HIPAA and Privacy escalations will be tracked and monitored, this is key to our regulatory compliance expectations and need to be managed per requirements.</li><li>
Other metrics: Average call wrap time, productivity, average call handle time and general service level expectations. These are subject to change based on business needs.</li></ul>
OT and Holiday Potential:<ul><li>
At times, Over-Time may be made available and will be assigned under a request and approval basis. In the event of an urgent unplanned need a text will be sent to all agents for a request for anyone that could support.</li><li>
Holiday assignments will be posted for selection based on a bid/lottery criterion so that coverage is available for all shifts.</li></ul>
