Job Title: Manager, People Operations
Location: Ocala, FL
Compensation: $58,000 &ndash; $75,000 Annually DOE
Target Start Date: October 15, 2025

Job Summary: The People Operations Manager will lead and oversee key human resources functions across iServ, serving as a trusted advisor to area leaders, managers and Team Members. This role partners closely with the Vice President of People Operations to design, implement, and manage HR programs that support iServ&rsquo;s people-first culture, compliance obligations, and growth objectives. The manager provides leadership in areas such as employee relations, compliance, benefits, onboarding, learning &amp; development, and performance management &mdash; ensuring consistency, fairness, and alignment with company values.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Serve as the primary resource for managers on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, accommodations, and conflict resolution.</li><li>
Oversee and ensure compliance with employment laws, labor posters, leave administration, and workplace policies.</li><li>
Manage HR systems and processes, including onboarding, benefits administration, and personnel records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>
Partner with leadership to evaluate and enhance training programs, including iServU and other development initiatives.</li><li>
Monitor and analyze HR metrics (turnover, training compliance, leave usage, etc.), providing insights and recommendations to leadership.</li><li>
Lead People Ops communications across the organization through The HUB, ensuring clarity and consistency.</li><li>
Collaborate with Finance to review and reconcile invoices for benefits and background checks.</li><li>
Champion employee engagement initiatives such as recognition and wellness programs, graduation celebrations, and Working Advantage incentives.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
2+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and compliance requirements.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to provide sound judgment and guidance in sensitive employee relations matters.</li><li>
Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paycom experience preferred).</li><li>
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.</li></ul>
Desired Qualifications:<ul><li>
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or higher) or pursuing.</li><li>
Experience in multi-location or multi-brand hospitality/restaurant organizations.</li><li>
Proven ability to lead HR projects and initiatives from planning through execution.</li><li>
Strong skills in coaching, influencing, and building trust with leadership teams.</li></ul>
Job Expectations:<ul><li>
Ability to sit at a desk for long durations.</li><li>
Occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs.</li></ul>
