We are presently searching for a full-time<b> Junior Experiential Designer </b>in our NorCal<b> studio</b>. Working under the supervision of EGD design leadership, the Junior Experiential Designer performs a broad variety of skillsets.</p><p><b>
Specific responsibilities will include:</b></p><ul><li>
Design and develop project presentations which include plan diagrams, elevations and additional 2D/3D representation</li><li>
Edits plans and elevation views for presentation purposes</li><li>
Supports the team in collecting information for client assessment</li><li>
Provides documentation support on all fronts</li><li>
Participates in the project ideation and communicate design process</li></ul><p><b>
Required Education and Work Experience</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Graphics, Industrial Design or Interior Design, or equivalent experience</li><li>
1+ years&rsquo; experience with 3D/2D graphics, signage, digital printing</li></ul><p><b>
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</b></p><ul><li>
Basic knowledge of the commercial interior architecture and/or the design industry, including the production process</li><li>
The ability to sketch and/or digitally render</li><li>
Basic sense of graphic design and knowledge of typography and layout methodologies</li><li>
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office</li><li>
Advanced abilities in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills, internally focused</li></ul><p><b>
Working Conditions:</b></p><p>
For the majority of the time the Junior Experiential Designer will be sitting in a studio with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist and reach. On occasion individuals will be required to visit a client site to perform site verifications and field surveys. The position is not subject to occupational and safety risks.</p><p><b>

We are presently searching for an <b>Architectural Designer</b>/ <b>Job Captain</b> for our<b> New York </b>studio. The Job Captain, while working under the general supervision of a Senior Job Captain and/or Architect or Project Manager, provides design support primarily in project administration, design development, and contract documents. Specific responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li><div>
Creates construction documents (CDs). Review CDs to ensure compliance with firm standards, mechanical, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements. For smaller projects may oversee all CD production and review. Coordinates with senior technical staff and design staff to provide technical solutions for design dilemmas.</div></li><li><div>
Manages project through the contract administration phase.</div></li><li><div>
Coordinates engineering consultant&rsquo;s work to ensure compliance with design solutions and timely submission of documents.</div></li><li><div>
Manages contract administration budget for assigned projects. Ensures adherence to set budget and immediately informs Senior Job Captain, Senior Project Architect, Project Manager and/or client of any potential variances to the budget.</div></li><li><div>
Conducts client interviews to determine technical requirements for the design.</div><div>

Qualifications:</b></div></li><li><div>
Graduate of architecture or design school. Equivalent experience may be substituted.</div></li><li><div>
Minimum 5 years&rsquo; work experience on corporate interior design projects.</div><div>

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</b></div></li><li><div>
Extensive knowledge of design principles and standards.</div></li><li><div>
Intermediate documentation and field observational skills.</div></li><li><div>
Advanced interior architecture detailing skills.</div></li><li><div>
Working knowledge of CDs and procedures.</div></li><li><div>
Working knowledge of building systems, codes and ADA requirements.</div></li><li><div>
Working knowledge of space requirements.</div></li><li><div>
Working knowledge of contract administration and documentation.</div></li><li><div>
Intermediate MS Office Suite skills.</div></li><li><div>
Advanced Revit skills.</div></li><li><div>
Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills</div></li><li><div>
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead junior staff through a combination of direct authority and subject matter expertise.</div></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 (based on education, licensing and industry experience)</b></p><p></p>
