 Job Summary
 
 
 
 We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide essential support to our VP of Machine Learning and SVP of Discovery. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrates sound judgment, and excels at balancing multiple priorities. This role in based on site at the San Diego headquarters.
 
 
 You will play a key role in supporting meetings, coordinating schedules, managing travel and expenses, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and assisting with special projects that contribute to the efficiency and success of the organization.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support coordination of meetings/events, ensuring effective time management and prioritization of meetings, events, and appointments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide support for special projects, includes monitoring and managing tasks and deadlines, ensuring timely completion and follow-up.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support calendar management and travel arrangements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and meeting materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support general office operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with data entry, filing, and record keeping.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 5+ years of administrative experience supporting executives, preferably in biotech or tech companies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, etc.) and communication platforms (Slack, Zoom, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience independently coordinating and booking domestic and international travel without the use of a travel agency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals, both internally and externally.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues effectively.
