Paid vacation, PTO, sick time and paid holidays.The Materials Coordinator will oversee and coordinate communication and activities needed for the flow of materials needed between helpers, laborers, material movers and handlers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>Inform designated employees and departments of items loaded or problems encountered and provide appropriate information, as well as communicate large blanket orders</li><li>Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems in the areas of scheduling, part swaps, pickups, expedited orders for the appropriate flow of materials</li><li>Provide CSU material check, report BOM errors to engineering team during final review, and provide lead times for material in collaboration with the manufacturing supervisor</li><li>Advise purchasing on items to reordered and work with handlers on trips between facilities and pickups.</li><li>Work with Materials Manager by providing input on cost avoidance and cost pricing based on market trends</li></ul>JOB QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>At least 2 years&rsquo; experience in a coordinator or administrative assistant type role and be able to use Microsoft Office applications and more specifically Excel</li><li>Ability to listen and understand information and ideas and express through spoken words and written sentences</li><li>Attention to detail, follow instructions and to work independently and with a team required</li><li>The ability to detect problems and provide logistical or process flow improvements</li></ul>WORK ENVIRONMENT<ul><li>Office environment most of time, manufacturing environment some of the time</li><li>Able to look at computer screens most of time, use of telephone, walkie-talkies, and other forms of communication</li><li>Inter-office collaboration and communication and working with multiple departments simultaneously</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: In person
