We&rsquo;re currently hiring for a Communications Specialist, Priority Communities Focus who will support communications efforts focused on engaging communities that have been historically underserved, particularly Hispanic/Latino communities. Our work includes several public sectors, including health, transportation, environment, climate, energy, disaster management, and education. We are looking for a professional to manage new and existing tasks for public sector clients with an authentic lens toward Hispanic/Latino communities. Work may include supporting community engagement, development of communications plans and materials, creative campaign development support, earned and social media, and partnership engagement. This professional also will collaborate with local and remote communications teams who work on these projects.
 As a Communications Specialist, Priority Communities Focus, you will:<ul><li>
Have an understanding of marketing and communications for and with Hispanic/Latino audiences.</li><li>
Support campaigns and projects that are designed to reach and engage Hispanic/Latino audiences</li><li>
Support project teams to support development, execution and evaluation of communication programs and products.</li><li>
Support audience-centric support for partnership programs, earned media activities, social media engagement and paid media efforts.</li></ul>
As a Communications Specialist, Priority Communities Focus, you will have:
Basic Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or related majors or equivalent experience</li><li>
2+ years of directly applicable experience, preferably in a communications or PR agency setting, or 2 years plus advanced degree</li><li>
Bilingual and bicultural Native Spanish speaker with experience in translation, transcreation and adaptation of materials on behalf of federal, state and local governments</li><li>
Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
3+ years of directly applicable experience</li><li>
Certification by American Translators Association (ATA) or equivalent</li></ul>
Professional Skills<ul><li>
Experience in supporting strategy development and executing Hispanic/Latino audiences health-related and behavior change campaigns that focus on community engagement.</li><li>
Interest in working with federal and state-level agencies.</li><li>
Knowledge of and experience authentically engaging Hispanic/Latino communities to support engagement strategies through partnerships, media and other opportunities.</li><li>
Experience writing content for a variety of channels including collateral materials, social media, websites, and other materials.</li><li>
Excellent English and Spanish verbal, written, organizational skills, and ability to interface effectively with all levels of the company and client.</li><li>
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and team members.</li></ul>

On-Call Communications Specialist, Priority Communities Focus

 Description
 
 
 
 As a Consultant or Senior Consultant on the Power Markets team, you will support the delivery of market analysis, forecasting, and advisory projects for clients across North American power markets. You will conduct technical analyses, contribute to project deliverables, and collaborate with team members to solve complex challenges in the energy sector.
 
 
 This position is available remotely anywhere in the U.S. or in a hybrid arrangement from any U.S. ICF office.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform market analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support power markets advisory projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct market analysis, production cost modeling (e.g., SCED), congestion and curtailment analysis, nodal price analysis, and revenue assessment of different technologies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in preparing client deliverables, such as reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support project managers in coordinating project tasks and timelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay current on regulatory and market developments in North American power markets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate technical findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Apply digital tools and analytics to enhance project outcomes.

 Minimum Qualifications

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consultant: 2+ years of experience in the North American electric power sector, with exposure to market analysis or forecasting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Senior Consultant: 5+ years of experience in the North American electric power sector, with exposure to market analysis or forecasting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with production cost modeling tools (e.g., PROMOD, Plexos, or other Production Cost Models).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with market price analysis, congestion and curtailment analysis, nodal price analysis, and transmission congestion concepts.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Master&rsquo;s degree in a relevant field.

 Experience in power markets or energy consulting.
