 The Housekeeper cleans and services all areas of the hospital and all buildings owned by the hospital. They arrange furniture in an organized and orderly fashion. They keep all equipment and storage areas clean and organized. Has no access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.
 
 
 Shift: 8:00 AM, alternating weekends
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ability to read and write and follow written and oral directions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Employees receive on-the-job training.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must know how to use cleaning equipment (i.e. vacuum cleaner)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to clean blood and body fluids.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to clean furniture, windows, restrooms, walls and dust mop and damp mop hard surface floors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to replenish all paper supplies, waste can liners and handle hazardous chemicals correctly.

 Description
 
 
 
 The Coder/Abstractor accurately codes all diagnoses and procedures for correct billing and accurate statistical using ICD-9-CM and CPT nomenclatures.
 
 
 Also monitors and processes unbilled accounts and performs various computer-related tasks.
 
 
 Codes all outpatient and emergency room records using standard classification systems accurately and in a timely manner.
 
 
 Reviews records for medical necessity and queries physicians when necessary.
 
 
 Monitors Outpatient unbilled report to maintain timely coding.
 
 
 Has full access to patient health information.
 
 
 Shift: M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, progress to remote
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High School Diploma required. RHIT or CCS or enrollment preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Current accreditation or certification by AHIMA preferred or attains certification with in 1 year of training.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent computer and typing skills required. Knowledge of all office equipment including microfilm reader printers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of medical terminology. Anatomy and physiology and the various medical specialties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read various handwriting, detail oriented, and ability to work independently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to handle stress in a mature and professional manner. Ability to identify problem situations and implement actions for improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time in order to handle medical records in file areas.

 The Clinical Medical Assistant provides direct patient care and clinical support to providers in a fast-paced outpatient medical practice. This position performs clinical duties while upholding the highest standards of patient safety, customer service, and compliance. Candidates must hold an active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential from an accredited certifying body.
 
 
 
 Key Clinical Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Obtain accurate vital signs, weight, height, and patient history.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and infection control standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform EKGs, spirometry, vision testing, wound care, ear lavage, and point-of-care testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer medications and immunizations per standing orders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track and communicate lab and diagnostic results.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of specimens.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain supply inventory and monitor expiration dates.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Patient Care &amp; Service
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Greet patients professionally and provide patient-centered care.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review medications, allergies, and health maintenance items.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide patient education and follow-up guidance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support care coordination and referrals.

 </ul>
 
 Administrative &amp; Compliance Duties

 <li>
 Document all clinical tasks in the EHR in real time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in huddles, quality initiatives, and compliance audits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain certifications, continuing education, and competencies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and emergency preparedness standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support chart prep, scheduling, and population health tasks.

 Job Qualifications:

 Required: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).

 Graduate of an accredited MA program.
 </li>
 <li>
 Current BLS/CPR certification.

 Demonstrated clinical competency.
 </li>

 Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

 Current CPR certification or willing to complete within 30 days of hire.
