<b>I&rsquo;m interested! What will I get to do in this position?</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Accountable for performance to Lab and Plant goals.</li>
<li>Conduct product testing per sample/analysis plans. Products include raw materials, intermediate products, finished products, and Technical Service samples.</li>
<li>Test data generated must be timely, accurate, and produced with high integrity. Improper influence or data misrepresentation is to be reported to Supervision or Management immediately.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely analysis reports including entering data in various computer systems.</li>
<li>Maintain laboratory equipment including routine maintenance.</li>
<li>Complete daily SPC activities and use SPC principles and tools to identify problem areas and areas for improvement.</li>
<li>Train other laboratory or plant personnel in analytical techniques and lab methods and equipment.</li>
<li>Provide technical assistance to various plant departments relating to analytical procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain housekeeping standard including clean work areas.</li>
<li>Dump all lab samples in approved containers</li>
<li>Retain laboratory samples.</li>
<li>Adhere to plant policies, especially Safety Rules and proper PPE.</li>
<li>Complete other projects as directed and all other tasks/duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Support production process improvement efforts.</li>
<li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><br>

<div><b>
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Chemistry or related field.</li>
<li>3 - 5 years working as a chemist.</li>
<li>Preferred: Prior experience in a chemical manufacturing laboratory environment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 requirements a plus. Knowledge of Quality Systems and Quality Assurance concepts including application of current Good Manufacturing Practices a plus.</li>
<li>ASQ Certifications to quality area preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment along with managing multiple projects/priorities/tasks simultaneously.</li>
<li>Must possess user skills of SAP computer program.</li>
<li>Motivated and ability to accurately perform large number of tests in a laboratory setting.</li>
<li>Must have some understanding of regulatory terminology and forms.</li>
<li>Monday through Friday day position with rotating or fixed weekend schedule and some overtime depending on business needs.</li>
<li>May require up to 10% travel</li>
<li>Computer skills &ndash; MS Office, Outlook, SAP, SPC &amp; Statistical,</li>
<li>Understanding of Quality systems including ISO 9000</li>
<li>Lead Investigations and make recommendations</li>
<li>Audit systems and performance</li>
<li>Understanding of Analytical Instrumentation (GC, LC, AA, ICP, pH meter, viscometer, spectrophotomer, colorimeter, densitometer, titrators, balances, resistivity meter, etc.)</li>
<li>Perform cookbook chemistry</li>
<li>Perform Bench Reactions</li>
<li>Familiar with manufacturing processes and operations</li>
<li>Document results accurately and review documentation (labels, equipment, readings) and calculations.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot equipment, analytical, and process problems</li>

Compensation at ICL:</b> If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).</div><div><br>

Salary Range: </b>$60,000 - $82,000</div><div><br>
<b>
Annual Bonus Target: </b>5%, subject to plan provisions.</div></div></div><div></div><div><div>
