Purpose:Provide staff support to provider. Improve the operations of Idaho Ear Clinic in support of its core values and patients: honesty and integrity, loyalty to practice and team, service to patient above all else, expert in all things ear, encourage individual ability and creativity.Schedule is Monday-Thursday 8-5pm, Friday from 8-2pmEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Serve as a contact for patient issues or concerns.Monitor all patient flow, to include client check-in, review Electronic Health Record (scrubbing prior to visit), note vital signs and present problems.Assist the provider with procedures and ensure smooth patient flow.Prepare exam rooms for client visits.Prepare instruments for sterilization. Maintain quality control of autoclave.Perform scribe duties by directly inputting data in the patient's chart while in the exam room with the patient and provider.Complete patient visit flow as directed by policy and procedures.Perform daily huddles with assigned care team members.Administer prescribed immunizations and perform patient education as requested by provider.Assist in maintaining Electronic Health Record by proper documentation, and by submitting a record release request.
