What You&rsquo;ll Do:<ul><li>
Assist with a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patients are comfortable and the treatment process runs smoothly.</li><li>
Take dental x-rays with precision and care to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.</li><li>
Prepare and break down operatories after each procedure, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.</li><li>
Manage patient flow by facilitating smooth handoffs and assisting in patient transitions throughout their visit.</li><li>
Ensure infection control standards are met by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment to guarantee patient safety.</li><li>
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, helping them develop habits that promote long-term oral health.</li><li>
Take accurate impressions and bite registrations, supporting the creation of custom dental appliances.</li><li>
Conduct digital iTero scans, providing accurate, state-of-the-art diagnostic data.</li><li>
Assist with patient charting and documentation, supporting doctors in their treatment planning and record-keeping.</li><li>
Collaborate with the entire practice team to deliver exceptional patient experiences and achieve optimal patient satisfaction.</li></ul>
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Greeting guests with a smile.</li><li>
iTero scanner training and usage.</li><li>
Prepping and educating guests before the Dr. Exam.</li><li>
Assisting Dentists with all procedures.</li><li>
Sterilizing instruments.</li><li>
Preparing treatment rooms.</li><li>
Recording medical history for each guest.</li><li>
Performing X-rays.</li><li>
Charting existing and recommended treatments.</li><li>
Performing other duties as required to support the office.</li><li>
Working collectively as a team to provide the best quality guest care.</li></ul>
What do you need to have to be a part of our team?<ul><li>
Active Registered Dental Assistant License.</li><li>
Current CPR certification.</li><li>
Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.</li><li>
DeNovo Offices: New acquired offices may require travel.</li></ul>

As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant at Ideal Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting both our patients and clinical team throughout the orthodontic treatment process. What you'll do:

</li><li>Work alongside the Orthodontist to ensure precision, efficiency, and a smooth clinical experience tailored to each patient&rsquo;s needs.
</li><li>Educate patients on post-treatment care and recovery to promote healing and long-term oral health.
</li><li>Coordinate care and follow-ups, ensuring patients receive timely treatment and clear communication throughout their visit.
</li><li>Maintain detailed and accurate records to support clinical decision-making and continuity of care.
</li><li>Foster a collaborative team environment by staying proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality specialty care.
</li><li>Contribute to the success of orthodontic practice by helping manage clinical readiness, patient flow, and operational support.

</li><li>Bending and placing arch-wires

</li><li>Preparing for and assisting with bonding

</li><li>Communicating with patients and families
</li><li>Taking x-rays and developing x-rays
</li><li>Taking intraoral and extraoral photographs
</li><li>Utilizing the computer imaging system
</li><li>Sterilizing instruments
</li><li>Pouring up models
</li><li>Inventorying supplies
</li></ul>What do you need to have to be a part of our team?
