Position Overview: Ideal Partners Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant for a direct hire opportunity. This role is responsible for managing outgoing payments, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with company policies while supporting efficient financial operations.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review, code, and process vendor invoices with proper authorization</li><li>Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and electronic payments</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing issues</li><li>Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9s and payment terms</li><li>Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payment status</li><li>Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and expense reporting</li><li>Perform administrative duties such as filing and document management</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>2&ndash;5 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience</li><li>Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software</li><li>Experience with Eclipse software is a plus</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li></ul>Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
