Compensation: $66,000 - $92,400

The DC Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including ensuring safety and security, managing order fulfillment and customer deliveries, organizing the warehouse, conducting inventory counts, maintaining equipment, and supporting inside sales activities.

Responsibilities/Duties:
<ul>
<li>Inventory Management:
<ul><li>Ensure supplier orders are input regularly to reflect proper materials and quantities in conjunction with usages and business needs</li>
<li>Ensure adequate stock of materials are always on hand utilizing inventory planning systems</li>
<li>Work with branch sales teams to forecast future inventory material needs and changes</li>
<li>Purchase warehouse consumables such as pallets, boxes, shrink wrap, etc.</li>
<li>Perform inventories (cycle counting) as required per company policy to ensure accuracy of stock</li>
<li>Work with inventory management to resolve discrepancies</li>
<li>Unload and receive stock replenishment materials into warehouse</li>
<li>Put away received goods according to company receiving policies</li>
<li>Note any damaged goods in the receiving process</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Customer Service and Sales Support:
<ul><li>Provide excellent customer service for all customers, including assisting walk-in customers and referring them to a Sales Representative as needed</li>
<li>Have knowledge of IDI&rsquo;s product offerings and pricing to assist in sales efforts</li>
<li>Assist customers with picking and loading purchased goods, ensuring accuracy against customer sales orders</li>
<li>Represent the company in a customer-sensitive manner during all customer and supplier interactions at the warehouse or customer/supplier sites</li>
<li>Collect payment per established credit terms and assist the credit department as needed</li>
<li>Maximize routing efforts by calling customers located within each route to generate sales and utilize the truck to its best capacity</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Safety and Compliance:
<ul><li>Have a working knowledge of all DOT rules and regulations governing the safe operation of company-issued equipment</li>
<li>Experience in utilizing Electronic Log Data (ELD) per DOT requirements</li>
<li>Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure safety compliance</li>
<li>Conduct thorough safety training as prescribed by company, OSHA, and DOT guidelines and maintain required safety certifications</li>
<li>Report any incidents as prescribed by company guidelines</li>
<li>Ensure clear and safe passage in all warehouse aisles and loading docks</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Warehouse Operations:
<ul><li>Ensure proper warehouse organization and production flow</li>
<li>Ensure compliance in maintaining all warehouse equipment</li>
<li>Pull materials to fill orders via a pick ticket in an organized fashion</li>
<li>Perform multiple quality control checks to ensure accuracy of shipped goods</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Employee Management:
<ul><li>Keep good records of required employee documents such as driver&rsquo;s licenses and DOT medical cards &ndash; ensure these documents are kept up to date</li>
<li>Ensure proper training of employees in all DOT/OSHA regulations, document requirements, truck maintenance, warehouse processes, etc.</li>
<li>Supervise proper completion of driving logs and truck inspections</li>
<li>Furnish disciplinary actions when needed</li>
<li>Approve timesheets and PTO requests as required</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Administrative Duties:
<ul><li>Complete reports as requested by Corporate</li>
<li>Keep good records of orders, customer conversations, employee forms, etc.</li>
<li>Cover for Branch Manager as needed</li>
<li>Other duties as beneficial to IDI</li>

<li>Proficiency in basic computer skills including MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, GP, Oracle)</li>

Education/Experience:

<li>High school diploma required, college degree preferred or equivalent education and experience</li>
<li>2 &ndash; 4+ years&rsquo; experience in warehouse leadership preferred</li>
<li>Forklift experience preferred</li>
</ul>
Licensures and Other Requirements:

<li>Must meet all DOT, State and/or Legal requirements that pertain to this position</li></ul>
