Job PurposeTo manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical and electrical materials, components, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and timely delivery to support smooth operations, projects, and maintenance activities.Qualification &amp; Experience<ul><li>Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Graduate with relevant technical knowledge.</li><li>Experience: 2&ndash;5 years in procurement of mechanical and electrical items (SPM Manufacturing, Engineering industry preferred).</li></ul>Key Responsibilities1. Procurement &amp; Sourcing<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and finalize reliable suppliers for both mechanical and electrical items.</li><li>Source materials such as:</li><li>Mechanical: bearings, fasteners, tools, machines, spares, hydraulic &amp; pneumatic components.</li><li>Electrical: PLC, cables, motors, panels, drives, MCBs, MCCBs, transformers, lighting, and control gear.</li><li>Float inquiries, collect quotations, and prepare comparative statements.</li></ul>2. Negotiation &amp; Order Finalization<ul><li>Negotiate prices, credit terms, delivery schedules, and warranties with vendors.</li><li>Ensure best cost, quality, and service standards in all procurement deals.</li><li>Issue purchase orders and ensure adherence to company policies.</li></ul>3. Vendor Development &amp; Management<ul><li>Develop new vendors for cost savings and supply stability.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.</li><li>Conduct vendor performance evaluations (quality, delivery, pricing, service).</li></ul>4. Coordination &amp; Inventory Management<ul><li>Coordinate with production, projects, maintenance, and stores teams to identify requirements.</li><li>Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages/delays.</li><li>Ensure materials are delivered on time to avoid downtime in production or project execution.</li></ul>5. Compliance &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Ensure purchases comply with company procurement procedures and audit requirements.</li><li>Maintain proper purchase records, documentation, and reports.</li><li>Provide regular MIS reports on procurement costs, savings, and supplier performance.</li></ul>Key Skills Required<ul><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.</li><li>Analytical skills for cost comparison and decision-making.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and MS Office.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;37,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
