This role, you will be involved in ensuring coordination of department efforts to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency in meeting production volume and quality standards. Night shift reports to Manufacturing Director.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Night shift, directly manages and supervises assigned Production Supervisors for Assembly, Blow Mold and Injection Mold areas, including but not limited to their annual performance reviews, monitoring of goals, developmental plans and setting competencies in company performance management system.</li>
<li>Perform duties in absence of the manager.</li>
<li>Accounts for efficiency and productivity levels to meet company objectives.</li>
<li>Develops workforce requirements necessary to complete the production schedule.</li>
<li>Works in concert with Human Resources to develop and enforce methods, policies and procedures for manufacturing labor resources.</li>
<li>Coordinates and communicates production priorities and employee availability plans with other Manufacturing Managers and appropriate departments.</li>
<li>Define and drive standardized operating procedures (SOPs) throughout the department.</li>
<li>Works with supervisors and HR/Safety/Quality in the preparation of instructions and training of associates on safety, skills and quality.</li>
<li>Works with Maintenance Department to coordinate repair and maintenance in accordance with production requirements.</li>
<li>Supervise and works with Material and Process department in the optimum utilization of raw materials.</li>
<li>Works with New product development in the success of new products that are going to be processed in the plant.</li>
<li>Supports productivity projects.</li>
<li>Implement, maintain and enforce 5S discipline throughout the Production departments.</li>
<li>Initiates, implements, and encourages the use of lean manufacturing tools in areas supervised.</li>
<li>Ensures satisfactory quality and quantity of work for assigned departments.</li>
<li>Communicates effectively with subordinates, peers and senior management.</li>
<li>Ensures fair and equitable treatment of all associates under his/her supervision.</li>
<li>Ensures that all associates comply with policies and regulations according to safety, OSHA and any applicable Company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering or a related technical or administrative field.</li>
<li>Minimum five (5) years of production experience in manufacturing.</li>
<li>Minimum five (5) years of supervisory or technical lead experience.</li>
<li>Experience in molding or plastics manufacturing processes and general assembly processes.</li>
<li>Technical experience operating molding equipment such as IMPCO B-30, Sterling, Graham, Hartig, Cincinnati, Beckum, Van Dorn, Engel, Krauss Maffei, or Toyo machines.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Proven ability to lead and work effectively with diverse teams.</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to perform essential job functions and ensure safety.</li>
<li>Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).</li>

Willingness to work extended hours or rotating shifts as business needs require.</div>

Fine Motor Skills &amp; Tool Use 
Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.

Visual Requirements 
Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.

Environmental Conditions

<li>Work is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100&ndash;120&deg;F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter.</li>
<li>High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required.</li>

This role, you will be involved in... Identifying, Developing, and Implementing automation concepts to full implementation, automated machinery and process to improve the manufacture of coolers and meet strategic goals. Finding suitable industry partners capable of delivering robust automation solutions in a fast paced, consumer goods factory.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Serve as the Automation Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Operations team initiatives and existing equipment/processes</li>
<li>Develop fully integrated systems to streamline processes to eliminate waste within the value streams and improve overall product quality, manufacturing capability, and process control.</li>
<li>Create the conceptual design for automated systems and act as the technical lead for automation migrations.</li>
<li>Produce and/or approve functional and detailed design specifications and provide technical leadership, support and expertise for the project team.</li>
<li>Establish the technical specification for electrical subcontracting including control panels and electrical subcontractor scope of work and ensure that the engineered solution meets project requirements.</li>
<li>Support the development of the PLC program and/or HMI program from Igloo&rsquo;s development specifications.</li>
<li>Participate and lead internal tests, such as Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test and Commissioning, including documentation of their respective protocols.</li>
<li>Compile and author the Operator Installation Manual and Troubleshooting Guide; and provide supporting technical equipment files.</li>
<li>Provide operator and maintenance technician training across all (4) shifts for any equipment or process automation.</li>
<li>Recommends, designs, &amp; implements upgrades to existing equipment.</li>
<li>Identify tool designs, and processes to improve consistency, accuracy, and cycle times.</li>
<li>Identify and implement shop floor savings.</li>
<li>Work as part of a larger multi-disciplined project team.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

<li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.</li>
<li>5+ years in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of PLC, HMI, Communication protocols, Ethernet IP, Virtualization, ProE, AutoCAD, and automation integration.</li>
<li>English language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.</li>
<li>Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.</li>
<li>Physical Demands: Manufacturing environment. Able to perform any job on shop floor.</li>
<li>Work environment: Warehouse is hot and humid in summer months, cold in winter months.</li>
<li>Ability to work on collaborative multi-disciplined projects autonomously.</li>
<li>Proactive and confident decision making to execute the assigned scope of work within the constraints of schedule, budget and specification.</li>
<li>Strong experience in Industrial Electrical Design, Information Technology and Automation domains.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the tools for formulating and implementing automated process improvements and best practices in a manufacturing environment.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills with the ability to energize people.</li>
<li>Having a global and passionate mindset is important as you will be working in a multi-cultural environment.</li>
<li>Must be willing to travel for FAT 10% of your time domestically.</li>
<li>Work effectively as a team member, work with little or no supervision, and communicate effectively (written and spoken) across the organization.</li>
<li>Be willing to work additional hours as necessary to complete assigned tasks. Consistently complete quality work in a timely manner.</li>
