Job Description: Pre-Primary TeacherLocation: Legacy ICSE School, Borivali Branch, MumbaiAbout the RoleA Legacy ICSE School, Borivali, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-Primary Teacher to foster foundational skills, social development, and creativity in young learners (ages 3&ndash;5). The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a strong commitment to delivering early childhood education in a nurturing and stimulating environment.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.</li><li>Create a warm and stimulating classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to explore and learn.</li><li>Employ a variety of teaching methods and activities including storytelling, play-based learning, music, art, and physical movement.</li><li>Observe, assess, and monitor each child&rsquo;s progress; maintain developmental records and share updates with parents.</li><li>Communicate openly with parents during meetings and through regular feedback, fostering positive home-school interactions.</li><li>Ensure the physical safety and emotional well-being of every child at all times; uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards in the classroom.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, school events, and professional development sessions.</li><li>Instill social values, group etiquette, and good habits through daily routine and structured activities.</li><li>Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and backgrounds.</li><li>Participate actively in school celebrations, workshops, and parental engagement programs.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Graduation with NTT/ECCE/DED or equivalent Early Childhood Education qualification (mandatory).</li><li>Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in an ICSE/recognised pre-primary setting preferred.</li><li>Good command of spoken and written English; strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.</li><li>Creativity, patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.</li><li>Familiarity with play-based learning techniques and inclusive education practices.</li><li>Basic computer proficiency (MS Word/Excel) is desirable.</li></ul>If you are enthusiastic about shaping young minds, apply now and become a part of the Legacy .
