Job Objective</div>

To align &amp; drive the Human resources function along with the business objectives / goals and provide a competitive &amp; sustainable HR framework for the unit. To develop people capabilities in the unit by selecting, retaining, &amp; compensating the best talent in the unit. Essential Job Tasks</div>
</div><div><ul><li>Monitoring and ensuring activities like recruitment, full &amp; final settlement, salary cycle, leave calculation, etc. takes place accurately and within as per given standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assessing the overall workforce requirement and forecast the attrition level; cushion the unit by making talent resourcing plans accordingly.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitoring all the exits &amp; separations; strive for retaining the employees and study the reason of existing attrition.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Regularly review all legal compliances and renew licenses as and when required.</li></ul>

Areas of Responsibility</div>
</div><div><div>
Financials &amp; Strategy:</div>
<ul><li>Assist in preparing the annual payroll budget exercise for the hotel and ensure all statutory dues are incorporated.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist in preparing the HR Strategy workbook and workforce plan for the hotel.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Managing payroll activities and ensure no omission of data occurs. Ensure that all employee salaries and contractor wages are paid on time.</li></ul>
<div>Associate Life-Cycle Management</div>
<ul><li>Develop strategic sources of recruitment such as campus hiring, job portals, social media, internal mobility, role enhancements etc.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist sign off on the salaries and terms and conditions of selected associates at all levels, supervise adherence to recruitment profile, timelines and budgets.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensures timely disbursement of offer / intent letters, pre-employment formalities, appointment, confirmation, role enhancement letters to the employees concerned.</li></ul>
<ul><li>To maintain Associate Requisition Forms (ARF) are raised for all kinds of recruitment and planned within the approved budgeted headcount.</li></ul>
<div>Statutory Compliances</div>
<ul><li>Adherence to various provisions under various statutory legislations such as Employees Provident fund act, Employees state insurance act, Payment of wages act, Industrial dispute act, Contract labour regulation and abolition act, Payment of Bonus act, Payment of gratuity act, Shops and commercial establishments act, Catering and establishment act, Prevention, prohibition &amp; redressal of sexual harassment at workplace act etc.,</li></ul>
<ul><li>To update the status on adherence to various statutory legislations in the EY application, along with supporting documents.</li></ul>
<div>Associate Connect &amp; Belonging</div>
<ul><li>Administers of various employee related facilities such as staff dining, staff accommodation, ladies night drop, Happy Place, Day care centre, Lockers and restrooms, Employee transportation as per the laid down standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Communication with employees through various communication channels such as Town hall meetings, Notice boards, e-mails, skip level meetings etc.,</li></ul>
<ul><li>Administers of the STARS - Special Thanks and Recognition System.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Follows any other Reward and Recognition program as per practice at the hotel level.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Implement all terms finalized as a part of the union settlement and ensure adherence to the same. Coordinate with the union members on various welfare related issues and handle grievances as raised by them.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist during the wage settlement in preparing the workings and documentation.</li></ul>
<div>Contract Management:</div>
<ul><li>Adheres to contractor / vendor management provisions as per guidelines specified.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Verifies &amp; signs-off various invoices related to monthly payment to contractors.</li></ul>
<ul><li>In addition to the above-mentioned duties and job functions, performs any other assignment given by the management within the scope of job</li></ul>

Required Qualifications</div>
</div><div><div>
Graduation, Masters in Business adminstration or Post gradutate diploma in Human resources Management or any other relevant education.</div>

Work Experience</div>

5-7 years of work experience</div>

Languages Needed in Position</div>
</div><div><div>
Should be fluent in English and preferably the Regional dialect.</div>
