Job Title 2: Senior ProcurementLocation: ChennaiExp: 3 to 5 Years of ExperienceJob Overview:We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Procurement Specialist / Manager to lead and optimize procurement activities across our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, reducing procurement costs, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of goods and services. This role plays a critical part in driving supply chain efficiency, cost control, and value creation.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and budget objectives.</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.</li><li>Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and service level agreements.</li><li>Conduct market analysis to stay informed of trends, pricing, and supply risks.</li><li>Oversee the end-to-end procurement process including RFI/RFQ/RFP management.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and forecast demand.</li><li>Monitor vendor performance and compliance through KPIs and periodic evaluations.</li><li>Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement function.</li><li>Manage and mentor junior procurement staff (if applicable).</li></ul>Technical &amp; Professional Skills:<ul><li>Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management (typically 7+ years, including in a senior or lead role).</li><li>Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.</li><li>Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba).</li><li>Solid understanding of procurement regulations, compliance, and risk management.</li><li>Exceptional analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Experience in cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
