The Customer Data Steward is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Customer master data in alignment with governance standards to support and enable global business partners and processes. This a global role responsible for improving data reusability, accessibility and quality using Illumina&rsquo;s Master Data Governance (MDG) tool, SAP and Salesforce (SFDC) platform. The Customer Data Steward will monitor and maintain data quality and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure completeness, accuracy and on time delivery of the customer records and customer hierarchies.</div><div><br>
This position is based in Bengaluru, India and will support data cleansing and migration activities associated with ongoing ERP Transformation to SAP S/4HANA.</div><div></div><div>
Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Own and manage end-to-end data cleansing activities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of contact, customer, and vendor master domains</li><li>
Collaborate with Customer Data Steward peers to identify data quality issues, define cleansing rules, and execute data cleansing activities for Customer, Contact, and Vendor master data in alignment with project-defined standards</li><li>
Independently conduct root cause identification and analysis on data outliers and clearly communicate findings/actions for stakeholders</li><li>
Maintain clear documentation of data cleansing procedures and changes made to data sets; define new/revise existing data quality metrics to monitor data adherence over time</li><li>
Prepare, maintain, and present Documentation, Policy and Training content for ongoing maintenance in S/4HANA and Informatica MDM</li><li>
Monitor and action on Data Quality reports to maintain data integrity and enforce data quality policies</li><li>
Leverage creative problem-solving approaches to review and validate data (Tax IDs, customer hierarchies, valid email addresses, etc.) against third party and public sources</li><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional internal business partners and Global Customer Master Data Governance teams to understand regional nuances about how customer, contact, and vendor is utilized</li><li>
Support UAT testing for ERP and CRM system enhancements</li></ul><div></div><div>
Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field</li><li>
Minimum of at least 5 years of relevant experience in Customer, Contact, or Vendor data management or data cleansing roles. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, Salesforce, and Informatica MDM preferred.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work in a timely manner</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Strong understanding of the interaction between data attributes and business processes</li><li>
Curiosity to investigate patterns, understand root causes, and support findings through data analysis</li><li>
Possess a positive, can-do attitude and an ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, team setting as well as independently</li><li>
Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel and SQL</li><li>
Experience with data cleaning techniques and tools (e.g., Informatica) as well as mass data upload tools (DemandTools, Winshuttle, etc.)</li><li>

May be responsible for the following activities: master scheduling, production planning/coordination, distribution planning, dispatching, co-ordinating with warehouse team, material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking.</div><div><br>

Key Responsibilities:</div><div></div><ul><li>
Create, maintain and execute detailed production and distribution plans to meet customer requirements, optimize inventory.</li><li>
Develop and implement strategies to optimize safety stock minimize inventory obsolescence</li><li>
Monitor and take necessary actions for backlog report and optimal finished goods inventory levels.</li><li>
Notify management and Customer Support of any changes to plan that will impact scheduled shipments</li><li>
Participate in Supply Chain portion of Change Management process including master data updates owned by DRP</li><li>
Coordinate phase in and phase out of materials to minimize obsolescence</li><li>
Review, resolve and escalate issues that impact plan completion</li><li>
Support new product launches by managing completion of supply chain activities that must occur to ensure initial builds of inventory for launch and sustaining availability</li><li>
Participate in Engineering Change Order review, approval and implementation of material phase-in and phase-out</li><li>
Ensure data integrity of master data elements which drive production and MRP (safety stock, cycle times, BOM accuracy, effectivity dates)</li><li>
Manage timely execution of MRP actions to ensure uninterrupted supply to customer</li><li>
Troubleshoot transactional records to resolve inventory discrepancies</li><li>
Build and maintain methodology and tools for ongoing performance analysis</li><li>
Monitor supply chain key performance indicators, publish performance reports, perform root cause analysis, implement action plans, and strive for continuous improvement (plan vs actual, internal demand, process flow, expiry, shortages, etc)</li><li>
Provide training support for new personnel</li><li>
Provide planning system knowledge support for site and affiliates</li><li>

Requirements:</div><ul><li>
5-8 years production planning or distribution planning experience with multiple product lines in a multi-site manufacturing environment</li><li>
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.</li><li>
Proficient with MRP, DRP and MPS systems</li><li>
Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure and perform data analysis</li><li>
Ability to distil complex issues into simple effective messages for management</li><li>
Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office suite</li><li>
Strong project management skills</li><li>
Familiar with FDS, GMP, SOX regulatory and compliance requirements</li><li>
Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.</li></ul><div><br>
